Ard Bakery Frederiksberg

I just had the most amazing grilled sandwich with Vesterhavsost, incredible ham from Slagter Lund, their signature sourdough bread and homemade mayonnaise. Simple ingredients, but executed absolutely perfectly. Crispy, warm, rich and ridiculously delicious. And a special thank you to Jemima for excellent service. ❤️ Ard Bakery is exactly what a great bakery should be: exceptional bread, fantastic pastries and fair prices.

Extremely underrated bakery on the level of Hart and the top ones in Copenhagen, the bread is very good and food and breakfast beverages are very nice, it's very quiet, it has room to stay outside and inside and since it's almost unknown from tourists, it's easy to find a spot to sit in the morning and enjoy breakfast. It's about a 10 minute walk from the nearest train station

The grilled cheese sandwich and the cappuccino for breakfast were amazing!

The matcha was excellent, and the cardamom bun was absolutely delicious. They paired perfectly together! The staff were friendly and welcoming. I’d definitely come back again.

Sourdough is absolutely spectacular

I'm a huge fan of their sourdough buns. I'd drive far for one with their cheese and butter on it.

Wow… great product I just tasted... Just randomly I picked this bakery.. Love it. The service of the two young girls was excellent too.. Keep up the good quality and service.

From the outside this bakery does not look special……. However, the patisseries in this amazing bakery, Are some of the best I have ever had. The cinnamon rolls are wicked, sugary, buttery crispy and soft in the centre. Day after day I had to return to this little shop and customer service was always with a smile, And the various products I had were wonderful. Part of a group of differently named bakeries called kiln - but as many readers will know Denmark has world class bread, cakes and patisseries to rival the wonderful French patisseries and boulangeries .

Came just before closing time, so we probably used up and wanted to go home.

Really good bread of really high quality. Crispy crust with airy interior. Great taste, tasted very much like sourdough.
