02/08/2026: We dined at HOS Restaurant last night and were absolutely delighted. The food was outstanding – fresh, perfectly balanced in flavor, and beautifully presented. It's clear they place great emphasis on quality and excellent ingredients. The service was attentive, friendly, and warm without being intrusive. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed, allowing us to fully enjoy our evening. It was definitely one of the best dining experiences of our stay. We would love to return and wholeheartedly recommend HOS Restaurant!

23/08/2026: During our holiday in Denmark, I visited Nymindegab Beach with a friend. We really enjoyed the beach and had a great time there. The expansive coastline and the dunes are particularly beautiful. It's a wonderful place to walk along the beach, enjoy the North Sea, or simply relax for a while. The dunes add to the lovely atmosphere. It's definitely worth a visit, especially when the weather is nice. For us, it was a great day trip during our holiday and definitely worth a visit.

25/08/2026: We chose this restaurant mainly because of its excellent rating and its convenient location, as it was not far from our hotel — and it definitely lived up to its reputation! We started with the asparagus velouté with truffle oil, which was a wonderful surprise. It was incredibly flavorful! The duck confit was another lovely surprise. The meat was incredibly tender and the skin perfectly crispy. The side dish was simply a salad and was quite basic compared with the quality of the duck and didn’t add much to the dish, although it certainly wasn’t a major issue. We also tried the ribs, which were absolutely delicious: very tender, full of flavor, and not dry at all. The service was truly excellent. The all-female team was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive. They regularly checked on us to make sure everything was going well, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal. The food was well presented, the service was very good, and the restaurant definitely lived up to the high rating that initially brought us there. It was a very good choice, especially given its convenient location near our hotel.

25/08/2026: The food and service were excellent! We had the Tuna Tostadas, Cream of Asparagus soup (amazing), the steak with mushrooms, and the Creme Brûlée. All wonderful. The only minor complaint was that the Maple Old Fashioned was a little too sweet and the orange slices were dried, not fresh.

16/08/2026: Wow, fantastic place! Really good experience in Esbjerg's oldest restaurant, which is nicely decorated, has nice waiters and makes super good classic smørrebrød. Not least their shooting stars as seen here, it's the best I've tasted. Thank you very much for the food. 😋😍

18/07/2026: Loved everything about this cafe. Tucked away from the noise of copenhagen simply by turning a corner it has cosy lounge chairs and freshly baked rolls for tasty sandwiches.

24/05/2026: We had pizzas number 43, 45. They were both delicious!! Right thickness/thinness, crispiness and excellent quality of ingredients. We also got tiramisu for home. Very tasty as well. Very good portion too! Super friendly staff too! Highly recommended! 🍕

19/08/2026: Had a wonderful experience at Viking Surf House. The recommendations were spot on, the facilities were great, and everything was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The whole staff was incredibly friendly and made the stay feel special. I highly recommend it if you want a surf experience in Denmark — the "Cold Hawaii" is truly worth it. My one bit of feedback would be around surf safety: I felt that some of the safety guidance around actually getting in the water could have been more thorough. Nothing that ruined the experience, but something worth strengthening for less experienced surfers. Thank you for a memorable stay!

17/08/2026: It was my second stay at Viking Surf House and both the accomodation as well as the surf lessons have always been great. It feels more like friends and family rather than a business while still retaining every aspect of professionality you could ask for. I will definitely come back another time :)

08/09/2026: Lovely experience on a Thursday. We were greeted by smiling and happy staff who quickly showed us to our seats. We were given a menu and ordered a bun with cheese and a chocolate croissant as well as a cafe latte for both of us. It tasted lovely. The staff said goodbye and continued to have a good day as we left the place.

05/09/2026: Cozy cafe where you can drop in, however it is an advantage to reserve a table in advance as it is a small and cozy cafe - good and attentive service and homemade buns
