There is a lot of craftsmanship, expertise and love in every cocktail, whether you choose one of Anze's signature cocktails or a classic, and it's always a pleasure to have him work with the homemade ice cream. It is a true one man show with Anže behind the bar. He carefully crafts every drink from start to finish, and the attention to detail really stands out. Even the ice is part of the experience. He crushes it by hand or cuts each piece to fit the drink, which is something you do not see every day. From the rotating menu, we tried the Colada Highball, which was bright, tropical, and refreshing; the Terminal Punch, where the ginger really shined through while still staying balanced and easy to drink; and the Alejandro, which had light cacao and gentle spice shining through while still being rich and dessert like. From the classic cocktail menu, we had a Vieux Carré, which was rich, complex, and beautifully balanced; an Old Fashioned that was smooth and exactly what you want from the classic; and The Last Word with its perfect balance of herbal, citrus, and subtle sweetness. We also asked for a dealer’s choice, feeling cheeky, and Anže delivered something that fit the mood perfectly.The drinks, the craftsmanship, and the laid back atmosphere made this one of our favorite cocktail stops in Copenhagen. Whether you are a cocktail enthusiast or simply looking for a place where locals enjoy a great drink, Atze Peng is well worth a visit.

An absolute must-visit every time I’m in Copenhagen! The atmosphere is incredibly warm and welcoming, and the owner crafts truly amazing cocktails. If you’re looking to try unforgettable drinks, this is the place to be. It’s a cozy, charming, boutique bar with such a great vibe that I always find it hard to leave. Easily one of the best cocktail bars in Copenhagen! Highly recommended!
