Bistro Dejavú Aalborg

Really lovely little hidden gem. We found it completely by chance, but are really blown away. Such a cozy atmosphere, really delicious food and really good service. Highly recommended from here 😊

We ended up here on recommendation. The table had a mixed selection of meats that was certainly of good quality. We had no complaints about the food. The service was somewhat lacking and very stiff. Possibly there were student workers or temporary staff on duty; we cannot judge that. A bottle of wine is supposed to be opened at the table. If you order extra side dishes with your order, it is nice for them to arrive along with the dishes. An extra side dish took a very long time, so everyone had already eaten. There are a few other things like that which are why we are only giving the service a 3. With the right staff, this would be a top-notch experience.

Very small portions of main course. You have to buy two courses to be full. The food is extremely well prepared and delicate and flavorful and beautifully presented on the plate. The waiter was 100% into the menu and found the perfect wine for the food. Their sourdough bread is phenomenal, so delicious! We guess there was a little orange peel in it. Tasted like more ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ I will definitely come back next time I'm in Aalborg.
