My favorite brunch place in Copenhagen! Tasty food, great service and nice interior :)

My friend and I had a really nice breakfast at Bistro Royal on 20/8/2026. The best part of the experience was the fantastic service from all the staff - but especially Laura who made sure our needs were always met, in the nicest and most natural way! She should be first on the list of employee of the month if you ask us. All in all, great service!

A great restaurant with an unusual menu and fantastic drinks. The service is also excellent and extremely attentive.

There's both indoor and outdoor seating available; the interior decor is truly outstanding, but we sat outside in July because the weather was so nice. The Swedish meatballs were fantastic. The service was also very fast, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We were very pleased. You can also try the local beer.

I have now had my second experience at Bistro Royal, and I must admit that I am completely blown away by how good it (still) is. The food was absolutely phenomenal and our waitress was incredibly sweet, had a twinkle in her eye and had great suggestions for what we should have. When my brother wanted a dry drink, the bartender even took the time to go down and ask what he thought. If I could only choose one place to eat in Copenhagen, it would have to be here. Some of the best steak I’ve had. We all ordered the 300g steak each served with fries, salad, and a choice of sauce, and steak tartare for starter - everything was absolutely delicious. One person in our group requested a halal steak, and the restaurant was happy to accommodate this after we called a few days in advance. The service was excellent throughout

A place I have visited several times. And this time on 26/9 2025 I visited the place with 5 colleagues, after the place has been newly renovated. We had booked a table and were placed in the back room, where a larger party was sitting. The fact that we were placed here also meant that there seemed to be a little confusion from the waiters about which orders belonged to which party. We were given drinks that did not belong to us, and dishes were placed at our neighbor's table, where no one was sitting. However, we concentrated on our own table, and the food and service were really nice. However, it significantly detracts from the service that our bill was higher than we immediately expected, so we did a check in relation to the dishes and drinks we had received The original bill was 3,755 kr, but some of the things that were listed, we had never ordered or received. We explained it to one of the waiters, and the bill was subsequently written down to the correct amount, 3,070 DKK. The waiter apologized, but we were a little shocked that someone else's food and drinks were being added to our bill when we were sitting at our own table of 6. We almost ended up paying an extra 700 DKK. Fortunately, two of our party insisted on checking the bill. I hope they get it under control in the future.

Well-served portions with quality. Excellent service and outstanding hospitality. Thank you for the thoughtful birthday cake you prepared for my son, it made his day even more special.

The location is superb, the service is even better, and the food is incredibly delicious.
