Bone's Odense

We haven't been there for many years. But we were celebrating a small birthday and thought it would be nice to try again. We were greeted by a staff that was happy, smiling and attentive despite it being over 30 degrees outside and very hot in the restaurant. They offered us a table by the window which was fantastic

Bones Odense is always worth a visit and the food is top notch.

The decor does a lot for the good atmosphere.

The sauce was not great, but a refill fries and refill water made it ok the price and even out. The steak had a bad cut, a very large chewy ligament went right through the middle of it, about 1/4 of the piece i had to throw out. (400g) The waiters are not attentive you have to chase them down. When they are at the bar they are not scenning the room for customer eye contact, they are sleeping with open eyes, in the phone or just working very slowly. Its not their fault but this particular day there were so mamy families with children age 2-8 running with stopming feet between all the tables. Would be nice to section off family sector from the single/couples tables and not have them right next to each other. Or limit stomping around. The salad bar was unbelievably boring and dry, not fresh. The price not worth it. Only if you want to eat heaps of skinny fries.

Bone's Odense welcomed my two grandchildren and me so WELL during the Ascension holiday, even though they were busy. The girls each got a gift, crayons and assignments :-) The food came quickly...and was to our liking, there was a salad bar...the girls got ice cream and I had coffee after the meal...the whole thing cost less than 500 kr? This place gets my best recommendations!
