Café Danmark Esbjerg

A typical Danish spot with tasteful decor. The dishes are authentically Danish and excellent. The staff is very friendly. Reservations are essential. Worth discovering. P.S.: The schnapps is excellent.

Wow, fantastic place! Really good experience in Esbjerg's oldest restaurant, which is nicely decorated, has nice waiters and makes super good classic smørrebrød. Not least their shooting stars as seen here, it's the best I've tasted. Thank you very much for the food. 😋😍

My first visit, but I am so overwhelmed and positive after the visit. Fantastic welcome, exquisite food to perfection, but not least a cozy retro atmosphere. We were served by an extremely professional and humorous staff. 😍

Perfect spot to experience authentic and extremely well executed danish cuisine

After frequenting the whole country for a number of years, my search for the PERFECT shooting star has finally concluded. Café Danmarks is not the biggest or most visually spectacular, but it is definitely the best!!! Both fish were prepared so satisfyingly that even the most jaded hellrup types would make the sign of the cross after every bite and send a thank you to the heavens - Because this creation is truly a revelation. PS. My picture does it no justice. Order and thank me later ;-)

One of the absolute best shooting stars I've had this year. Especially the white fish was extremely delicious. Fresh green asparagus was delicious. Everything was according to my wishes and dreams. The serving was fresh enough and created a good atmosphere. I'll come again if I can get a table.

Despite the “tourist trap” name, it’s the real deal Danish restaurant, filled with locals. Chef Nick, fellow cyclist enthusiast, agreed to take-away, and volunteered tips and suggestions on my cycling itinerary. Lovely Danish friendly attitude. The food is absolutely delicious!!! Not to miss! 🚴🏼🇨🇭
