Café Kjukken Sønderborg

Great food and very reasonable prices. Highly recommended 🤪😃😀

After exploring Sonderborg in the morning, we decided to have lunch at Cafe Kjukken. It is a modern, bright, and cozy cafe, right next to the library. Large windows offer a view of the wide waters of the fjord that runs through Sonderborg. We ordered an iced coffee, a decaffeinated coffee, and rye bread with fish fillet, shrimp, lettuce, roe, and mayonnaise. The taste, freshness, and presentation of the plate were fantastic. The service was friendly, humorous, and knowledgeable—top-notch. The value for money is good. A wonderful lunch for us in Sonderborg.

Very nice cafe and restaurant. The situation within the library building on the harbou front is fantastic. There is a lively yet calm atmosphere. The coffee was very nice and the service very friendly. The only downside is the your dog has to stay outside.

Gluten-free options are easily available. Great atmosphere right in the middle of the library.
