Found this idiosyncratic waterfront pub quite by chance now sipping merlot and listening to Come On Eileen on the jukebox. Smells strongly of stale cigarette smoke mmmm reminds me of forty or fifty years ago!

30/09/2025: The rooms were clean! Well-appointed, but very small. Actually, a bit too small for two people. It's fine for one night, but staying longer isn't ideal. The hotel is just a 3-minute metro/water taxi ride away. That's really great! It's not in the busy city center, but you can get there quickly. Parking is available in the garage underneath the hotel for 30 euros per day. Breakfast was good. Not a lot of variety, but perfectly fine.

06/09/2025: Nice place. The music can be a bit too loud though.
21/08/2025: Most "metal bars" will usually just play Sabbath, Nirvana or AC/DC to not scare non-metalheads away, so whenever I walk into a bar where Suffocation is playing in the loudspeakers, it's an automatic 5 star rating. Also the beer is affordable and the bartender was super nice.
