The service was not up to par with our first visit. We were at CAPA for the second time. The food was as high class as the first visit. Unfortunately, the service was not. We were not asked how our steaks were cooked until we had very little left. Dessert was served while someone from the party was away from the table. After dessert, no coffee or anything was offered. These are small things, but they are small things that were 100% under control in the end.

An absolutely fantastic experience⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ we had our children in there, the waiters took time for the kids and what a delicious meal. Not the last time we come by. But a tame dessert when you have diabetes. And they were warned we were coming over a month before.

Very nice cozy place with excellent service. The waitress was brilliant! Food was very good. Will definitely come back.

We went in to try their October menu and it was really delicious dishes. The first courses are relatively small so you can easily get through all 8, but you should be aware that the butter steak served as the main course is a whole steak which surprised us a bit 😅 We were very satisfied, the only anchor would be that there is not such a large selection of beer (on the other hand, a lot of wine) and then the butter steak was served almost rare so if you want medium rare I would probably just mention it. Serving and service are top notch. Lively (loud) place, but cozy. But now we also come from dark Jutland 😅

Although I was traveling alone on business, I felt at home from the very first moment. The restaurant was fully booked, yet the staff welcomed me with genuine warmth and made me feel truly cared for. The cozy ambiance and friendly smiles immediately helped me relax. The service was exceptional. Every member of the team I encountered was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. I’d especially like to highlight my server, Thea. From the first moment, she went out of her way to make me feel like I wasn’t dining alone.She was not only wonderfully kind but also highly competent and professional in her service. Thea and her colleagues took the time to explain each course of the menu in detail, ensuring I understood every dish on my plate a personal touch that made the entire experience so special. During a brief quiet moment, she even paused to chat with me, which is rare to find in fine dining these days. It truly felt like dining with friends. A big thank you goes to the entire team and the management of Capa. Their coordination was flawless — the whole crew worked in perfect harmony. I noticed how smoothly everyone collaborated to keep things running effortlessly in the busy restaurant. It was clear that management has done an excellent job building a well-synced team; everyone radiated the same warmth and hospitality. Thanks to this wonderful teamwork, every guest seemed to feel genuinely welcomed and well taken care of throughout the evening. Now, about the food: I chose the five-course tasting menu, and wow what a culinary journey it was. Each course offered a perfectly balanced combination of flavors a true explosion for the taste buds. The presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were bold yet harmoniously composed. With each course, Thea and her colleagues explained what I was about to enjoy, making the meal not only delicious but also engaging and informative. The highlight of the evening for me was the original CAPA butter steak. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the pepper sauce which deserves more than to be called just a sauce was absolutely phenomenal. Rich, creamy, and with just the right amount of spice, it elevated the tender beef with every bite. I’m still thinking about that incredible sauce! Equally impressive was the wine pairing. Thea guided me expertly through the wine list and recommended the perfect matches. Even though I was dining alone, I never once felt lonely. Thanks to Thea and the rest of the Capa team, I felt welcome and well looked after the entire evening. The experience felt very personal and sincerely warm like dining at home in the best company. In summary, my evening at Restaurant Capa was simply wonderful. Every detail was just right — from the warm welcome to the flawless service, from the exquisite food to the thoughtful wine pairings. I’m giving Capa a heartfelt 5-star rating and will recommend it to anyone visiting Copenhagen. Thank you, Thea, the entire staff, and the management for a perfect and unforgettable dinner. Very fancy food.. more fancy than tasty. A bit like a picture.. nice, but doesn't taste like much

Nice steak, friendly atmosphere, the best experience

Known for their 'butter steak', the bistro style restaurant serves good food but at a very slow pace (5 courses in 3.5 hours for our case). The meat was well prepared and the fish starter was good. Not sure if the butter steak is that special if you've tried Sashi, Wagyuy etc.

Even though the place was full, it felt like we were his only guests. Viktor had impressive timing and overview – the food came at a leisurely, natural pace, allowing us to savor each course and talk about it before the next was served. It all felt coordinated and personal, as if the experience was tailor-made for us. He guided us through each course with insight and enthusiasm, explaining the dishes and highlighting small details we would otherwise have overlooked. When I asked for a glass of wine with the main course, he found two bottles and chose a glass that matched the food perfectly – a perfect match! All in all, a 10/10 experience and worth every penny. We left feeling like we had been the center of attention the entire evening – thanks to Victor and the rest of the team for an unforgettable evening! We went there twice and enjoyed it to the fullest every time. The quality and preparation of the steaks and dishes was to the level of perfection. The service was fantastic and everyone had great knowledge of the food and wine they’re serving. On top of that, they are extremely accommodating when it comes to allergies. We had a fantastic time and are sad that we’re leaving copenhagen today, so we cannot go there a third time.
