Super delicious food. Lovely view of the water. Very welcoming and professional service. We felt welcome. The prices are very reasonable.

They know what they're doing here, and they know good food here - no doubt about it! The carbonara is made just right, with Guanciale and Pecorino, and it's nice and creamy. I had an excellent Vitello Tonnato, where the veal could have been more pink. The lamb crown was well-done and juicy, but a couple of the cuts were simply too small and poor for the price, and the vegetable garnish too boring (half a handful of pan-fried, wrinkled peppers). It's a really nice Italian place for both those who appreciate good food without it having to be fancy - and for those who appreciate Italian food that hasn't been "danishized" beyond recognition. And it's beautifully located - right by Mariager Fjord. The terrace is a lovely place to sit on a late summer evening. The service is friendly and informal and the wine list is excellent without being pretentious. We will come again.

Wanted to order a starter and after the starter we wanted to order a main course. It couldn't be done, everything had to be ordered at the same time. What! I've never heard of this before.

Good food, and cozy atmosphere with a beautiful location.

Standard buffet with pizza and pasta which tasted excellent. Friendly and accommodating staff.

Let's start with the positives. We got pizzas and they were generally good, but… One person at the table got their food 10 minutes before the others. The burrata on the burrata pizza was ice cold and gritty. It might have come straight from the freezer. The fries on the pizza with fries were soft. And when we had to pay we got the wrong bill, with a dessert that we hadn't ordered. All in all, sloppy.

Was there on 15/7-2026. In general, the food was okay. We had chosen the monthly menu without wine. And the starter tasted fine, but it was not “presented nicely”, it was just “splattered” on the plate, and there was no doubt that the jalapenos and shrimp were fished out of a bucket, and were not fresh, as it tasted of pickle. The main course was with slightly bland garnish, which was clearly boiled and not steamed, and the meat was in no way seasoned….it tasted of absolutely nothing. And there were too few potatoes Dessert was ice cream, which was okay. As a guest, we had a clear feeling that we were just going to be eaten by/instead, as we barely managed to eat one dish before the next one came… In addition, when paying, we were met by an owner who was a bit angrily bossing an employee, and we think that kind of thing should not happen in front of customers. I think the place is great if you want pizza etc., but what we ordered can only just be considered “okay” food.

Beautifully situated by the harbor with a large outdoor terrace and a tastefully decorated interior. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. If only it weren't so far from home...
