Cosy cafe near Rosenborg castle. Delicious coffee and hot chocolate. Not a lot of seats downstairs and there is a spiral staircase to go upstairs where there are more seats. Friendly staff and great place for a quick stop.

A wonderfully cozy breakfast spot with a view of the Rose Garden. A bit pricey, but the avocado toast and drinks are absolutely delicious. 😋

A cozy little cafe, which also has tables upstairs. Good coffee and good bread. Update December 21, 2022 - fantastic risalamande croissant with cherries from Frederiksdal just gets the 5th star Have been there many times, and the quality holds up. For example. Bacon Body on December 20, 2025.

this croissant “gro sandwich” changed my life- i’ve never had such a well seasoned breakfast/lunch dish in my life. service was really fast and friendly, such a great find and definitely recommend!!

Had the most pleasant experience at Det Vide Hus, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the food is delightful and the coffee is truly 10/10. Highly recommend!

27/12/2025: It's a bit cramped, but the food arrives quickly and tastes good.
26/12/2025: Great burgers, worth the wait since we didn’t reserve a table. The staff were very accommodating with our burger choices, as well as finding a table for us last minute last Saturday evening. Really tasty burgers!

08/07/2025: Este restaurante es muy acogedor y el lugar perfecto para tener una conversación con un amigo. A pesar de que sigo una dieta sin gluten, pude disfrutar de una sabrosa cerveza sin gluten. Este restaurante me recuerda a los pubs británicos, donde los clientes conversan y no miran televisores de pantalla grande que muestran deportes o noticias.
10/06/2025: Great atmosphere, good beer and cocktails, and Pablo the bartender was awesome!
