A very friendly gentleman helped us and prepared the food, delicious chicken and spareribs! The salads were also very good. Only the pizza was a bit salty. We got takeout, but there's also a nice seating area if you want to eat in.

Excellent service, super friendly staff, attentive and super polite. Home made burger was so tasty and value for money was unreal for Denmark.

09/12/2025: Sweet and knowledgeable service, delicious, varied and original selection of open sandwiches, including choice of bread and size. Really well composed and well presented, and in cozy surroundings inside and out. There is also an exquisite selection for both beer, wine and schnapps drinkers. If you have to eat in one place in Svendborg, Kong Volmer is the place!

23/03/2026: Dropped into the market café by chance, and what a little gem it is. Lovely food with good and friendly service. Open sandwiches and the dish of the day on Thursdays. We would definitely like to come again.
