Hotel Viking Aqua Spa & Wellness Resort Frederikshavn

It was a wonderful stay we had. Exceptional service, wonderful food, delicious champagne and great surroundings both inside and out. It is a shame, however, that the beds are 2 single beds, which easily jump apart, they could be screwed together or just throw in a double bed. But that is absolutely the only thing I was not satisfied with, everything else is 5/5

I enjoyed a wonderful mini-vacation at Hotel Viking with my friend, where we stayed in a Supreme room. The stay included both spa access and a 3-course menu, and overall it was a really nice experience. The spa facilities were fantastic and very versatile. There were good opportunities for relaxation, and we especially appreciated the variety in the saunas – saunagus was just okay. A big plus were also the small details in the spa area, such as various refreshments and fresh fruit, which you could enjoy during your stay. The dinner was really luxurious and consisted of some of my favorite dishes, which made the experience extra special. The room was also really nice with a beautiful view of both the sea and the pool area. There were a few drawbacks, however. There was an unpleasant smell in the room (a bit like sweat or something), which was particularly bothersome for both of us, as we are sensitive to that kind of thing. In addition, we experienced that smoke from other guests' smoking penetrated our room when the balcony door was open. Overall, we had a really nice stay with many positive experiences, but there is some room for improvement in the comfort of the rooms.

We had a great time, The room was a bit out of date though. Subjective experience: We had a deluxe room but couldn't open our balcony door because the people next door were smoking on their balcony. And we looked right into a furniture house. Or a really nice place, the food was good

A lovely place, which especially offers Spa and Wellness. The place is clean and neat and does not immediately look worn. The rooms are not super modern, but they have what you need and in some of the hotel you can also buy rooms with a view. The wellness part is clearly what the hotel is most known for and it also works quite well. At the top of the hotel you can enjoy a salt pool and a hot tub, where you can look out over the water, which is quite nice. There is also a cold water tub, sauna, steam bath and several other things. The breakfast buffet is good - there is a larger selection elsewhere, but it was quite nice and the hot things were kept well warm.

We had a wonderful stay in April, bought as a deal via Facebook. We upgraded to a room with a sea view which is definitely recommended. The spa and wellness area was incredibly nice and met our requirements for relaxation. The spa area on the roof terrace is a wonderful place to relax, with a view of the Kattegat. The food was also really good in a nice setting. It is definitely not the last time we will come here...

Super super delicious. Beautiful view of the water. Friendly staff everywhere. Large, beautiful and delicious spa area. Easy check-in and check-out. Smart you can get your orders in the room so you can just be without having to carry your mobile/wallet everywhere. Example of the good service. Both we and the waiter had forgotten when we came for dinner that we had ordered a welcome drink, we realized when new people came and got it, but we had just come for dessert. So we got compensation and got a drink ticket with us that we could use in the spa. Super good service. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will definitely come again. The only small suggestion for improvement in the room is to remove the disgusting towel dryer in the bathroom that is just full of dust and rust. 🥹
