This was so delicious! The staff was so friendly and just happy to be making amazing pasta. We come from NYC and have both been to Italy and this was top tier pasta. We had the carbonara, cacio e Pepe and the special. When they asked what was my favorite I said all 3. Would recommend for anyone who is visiting and going to Torvehallerne Hall.

If you want to eat real Italian food in Copenhagen this is the best place, the pasta is really excellent.

I've tried many carbonaras, but the one at Il Mattarello is undoubtedly one of the best I've ever eaten. The fresh pasta really makes the difference, and you can taste all the quality of the traditional Roman dishes, from cacio e pepe to amatriciana, all beautifully prepared. Plus, the two girls who work there are super kind, welcoming, and always smiling: they make you feel right at home. A place I'll definitely return to whenever I'm craving authentic Roman cuisine!

Rome in Copenhagen! Delicious first courses, we felt at home again after three days of struggling to eat decent meals. Lunch here revitalized us. Highly recommended for lunch.
