Nice pub with lots of different beers etc. and very nice atmosphere

We had a fantastic beer here. Very pleasant service, beautiful surroundings like something out of a British beer club, about 15-20 types of beers from various Danish and foreign breweries, a wonderful atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again.

The owner is super sweet, good cold beers and it's always possible to watch football down there. The outdoor seating is probably one of the best places in Aalborg, definitely recommended if you're going out for a drink with friends.

🍺😄 John Bull Pub Aalborg – tight, worn out and still full to the brim 😄🍺 How do you describe John Bull? It's a bit like a classic pub time warp: old, worn out and packed with people like sardines in a can 🐟😂 The place is dark, a bit tired around the edges and smells exactly like a pub should… for better or worse 😅 You're standing so close to other people that you're not quite sure if you ordered the beer yourself – or just inherited it from the person next to you 🍺🤝 The beer is expensive 💸 But hey – it's cold, it's poured, and you can pay for it. That's like the baseline here 😄 The toilets? They fully meet classic pub standards 🚽💀 So… if you've ever wondered “what does a mix of festival and old decisions smell like?” – then you've got the answer here 😅 It's not nice. It's not fancy. But it's John Bull. And in some strange way it works. A bit like an old Nokia – ugly, worn out, but it does what it's supposed to 📱😂 ⭐🍺🍺🍺 3 out of 5 draft beers (the fourth was spilled in the crowd – the fifth never made it to the bar) 😄

It's rare that John Bull shows the Bundesliga on the big screen on Saturday afternoon at 4 pm, when the Premier League is on. A decades-long tradition has apparently been scrapped. So in the future, you can't count on John Bull if you want to watch the Premier League. Unless of course if it's Liverpool playing.
