Great venue for a smaller wedding party or other event, with a nice terrace and big garden, really good food and friendly, helpful staff.

Beautiful spot, very nice people, and the almond cake with ice cream and crumble is definitely recommended! Our dog was more than welcome, which was also nice! Easily accessible by dinghy from Helnæs Bugt by mooring at the nearby campsite! Lovely stopover! :)

Beautiful plate with different small dishes. It tasted really delicious. The only small minus is the price compared to the amount of food. The plate cost a little over 300 kr...expensive I think compared to the amount. We got a super delicious and fresh lemonade. The surroundings are perfect.

We had great coffee and cake/dessert, very delicious. Beautiful view and place with soul and charm. We got sweet and polite service. We would love to come again and recommend this place🤩

We went to a concert with Thomas Dybdahl with a 3-course menu. Really good food and a unique experience to sit so close to others that you had to talk to each other. It made for an exciting and different evening with some stories that you wouldn't have gotten on a regular evening. The staff is super nice and focused on the good experience so we can only recommend everyone to visit the place at least once.

This place is a must visit if you are in Southwest Funen. It is truly a gem. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is really cozy and the view is fantastic!

05/08/2026: Highly recommended! The food is truly exceptional! The Parisian-style minced steak came with red onions, horseradish, capers, vegetables, and egg yolk – a perfectly balanced combination! The children's portions are very generous. Dessert is also incredibly delicious! The house and garden are lovely, and you feel very comfortable there! Reservations are advisable! Unfortunately, there are very few restaurants in the area; Helnæs Kro is a real hidden gem!

18/07/2026: Actually it is a 2 overall, BUT the price is lower than the norm and thus you also have to lower your expectations a little.
