They serve your coffee in a cereal bowl, no matter what you order… It's good, but it's excessive. The pastries were delicious. The place is pleasant.

A great little café run with a lot of love. The coffee and cake are absolutely delicious, and the owner is very welcoming. It's also a great place to sit outside—even in the shade. We highly recommend it!

Just what I was looking for some cozy (hyggelig) and authentic (ægte) to enjoy a cup coffee and Roll with cheese. Good bread and coffee. Cups are small bowls so lovely amount. Under cup was royal danish porcelain. Small touches make things cozy. No computers.

We were delighted with this cozy experience in the middle of our visit to Roskilde. We were able to order in English without any problem and the portions were generous. The latte and cake were absolutely delicious!

14/04/2026: Brown pub with good beer. Very little space upstairs
26/02/2026: The type of bar slowly and sadly fading out of memory. Taps are dedicated to Åben, but my best guess is that a bajer with a chaser easily outsells these more modern beers. From the outside it looks like Edward Hopper’s Nighthawk, with patrons from all walks of life. TV screens gone black once streaming services started dominating the airwaves. A few The Bruery and Cascade bottles on the shelf as a reminder of early ambitions. Now mainly collecting dust. So, obviously a bad place then? Quite the contrary. More heart and soul than many sleek and sterile pubs these days. Met a nice couple who insisted we try some Limfjordsporter. That doesn’t happen in too many places.

Scandic Roskilde

18/05/2026: Really nice Scandic. Very good breakfast, in a nice large dining room. Liked that there is a large park directly adjacent to the hotel with a 1000 meter walkway around it. Also disc golf, playground etc. Takes 10 minutes to walk to central Roskilde
17/05/2026: That in connection with a confirmation, the party used the premises, but it's such a nice place 🙂
