The food was very very good. The only negative is you must order at the counter. That process is typical in Copenhagen so not a big deal. They were busy all day and night

We ordered breakfast, and everything we ordered was delicious. We sat at the outside tables. Highly recommended.

The food was amazing, we both had the pasta dish with artichokes and loved it; the service was awesome. The only small issue we had was that they had us prepay so if we had wanted to order more drinks we would habe had to pay again.

Cute little place… like a oasis

I first visited Kalaset in 2023, and now I’ve returned again in 2026. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to make me the same dish I enjoyed on my first visit. Even though my daughter asked for a lunch dish outside the usual time, they didn’t hesitate to prepare it for her. The food was just as amazing as I remembered, and every one of us loved our meal. It’s wonderful to see that the quality, service, and hospitality have remained consistently excellent over the years. We’ll definitely be back💗💗💗

10/10 experience! Had reserved a table for my friend's surprise party - they had decorated the table with flags and even put "hip hurray it's my birthday" on when my friend came in and was surprised. All in all, nice place and delicious drinks🍾🍾

Kalaset is a calm place for a breakfast with interesting twists. We went to Kalaset on a Tuesday morning in July. Place was almost empty with only 2 or 3 other tables occupied. We opted for Eggs Benny and Banana & Chocolate Pancakes for breakfast. Both were really fine, I'm a fan of eggs Benedict and I was satisfied. The portions were also proper, something we found out is not a given in Copenhagen. The dessert had an interesting twist - it was a tiramisu based on a leftover bread from a bakery on the other side of the street. The sourdough was an interesting substitute for sponge biscuit. It was so unique I highly recommend trying it out. For two breakfasts, one dessert, and a tip we paid 270 DKK. The bartender was a lovely person willing to explain all the ins and outs of the menu including the backstory behind the dessert.
