A good place to visit with beautiful nature

A very nice restaurant in the hotel, in a beautiful location. Great portions and friendly staff.

The food was delicious. 😋 The 2 young boys who served were also great, and they spoke Southern Jutland. 🤩😍

A lovely hotel and restaurant, located next to the ship museum on a small harbor with sea views. Peaceful atmosphere.

Nice to be able to eat outside after a nice walk on the island

Party with Roasted Suckling Pig. We just had a party at Kalvø Badehotel for 46 people. The staff has been very accommodating in terms of organizing the party. We got good advice on putting together the menu and the evening's course. In fact, we could have it the way we wanted it :-) We started with bubbles in the pavilion, a small salmon appetizer, then roasted suckling pig with various potatoes and salads. Ice cream and apple cake with coffee and tea. Beer, water and wine, both with and without alcohol. And drinks. There is a music system with Bluetooth and disco lights. The staff was nice and helpful all evening, so we had the party we dreamed of. We will come again <3

We visited Kalvø Badehotel with the expectation of a good dining experience in cozy surroundings. I ordered a steak medium rare, but in my opinion it was not cooked as desired. When I pointed this out to the waiter, I was simply told to cut into the middle of the meat, where it was supposed to be cooked correctly. However, I had expected my comment to be taken more seriously and that a solution would be offered. The accessories also did not quite live up to expectations. The braised potatoes were very dark in several places and in some places almost burnt, which affected both the taste and presentation. The location and atmosphere at Kalvø Badehotel are still really cozy, but the dining experience and the handling of feedback unfortunately dragged the experience down this time. I hope that the kitchen and staff will take the guests' feedback into account, as the place has the potential to deliver a much better overall experience.

Super delicious food and portions that will fill you up

A bit disappointed, since I was longing for some fried fish and remoulade. But since it was Monday, it was special meet for motorcyclists. Two coarse served, meatballs with potatoes salad or sausage with potatoe salad. But, this was really good. Hats off for such a pleasant and tasteful surprise. Next time we meet on another day, tasting the a'la carte.
