Very good bakery and friendly staff. I had a Kanelstang stykke, a low, stripy cinnamon bun. As always, cinnamon-y and delicious!

I arrived at Lagkagehuset early in the morning — jet-lagged and in need of a good coffee — and it turned out to be the perfect place to start the day. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, with that cozy Scandinavian charm that instantly makes you feel at ease. The coffee was amazing, rich and perfectly balanced, just what I needed after a long flight. Their pastries looked and tasted incredible, fresh from the oven with the kind of quality you expect in Denmark. The staff were friendly and efficient, and even early in the morning, the place had a warm, inviting energy. It’s easy to see why Lagkagehuset is such a local favorite — great coffee, delicious pastries, and a peaceful vibe that makes even an early, jet-lagged morning in Copenhagen feel special.

The extra-hot decaf coffees with oat milk, pumpkin spiced latte, and cherry latte were delicious. The vegetarian Halloween marshmallow desserts, however, were so insanely sweet they deserved a warning label — and ended up straight in the bin.
