Lagkagehuset @ Copenhagen Cinnamon rolls, truly commendable. During a 5-hour layover in Copenhagen, we spontaneously decided to take a quick trip into the city center. My friend used AI to plan the itinerary immediately, and we were off! After strolling from the cathedral to the square, we were starving. The thoughtful AI suggested coffee with cinnamon rolls, and the shop immediately pointed to Lagkagehuset. It's a large chain bakery with several locations in downtown Copenhagen. Their cakes are vibrant in color and look incredibly fresh and crisp. Without much hesitation, we went with the cinnamon rolls, as AI recommended. The cinnamon rolls were quite large, with a slightly crispy outer layer and a slightly dry interior. The cinnamon filling was generous and not overly sweet. Unlike typical cinnamon rolls, it had a distinct salty flavor, but it wasn't jarring at all. The saltiness actually balanced the sweetness and enhanced the umami flavor. Sipping a cafe latte, I was very satisfied. I rushed back to the airport to prepare for departure and saw that there was a cake stand at the airport. The cakes all looked delicious. I'll try other ones next time.

The bread we took and coffee was very normal and nit so good taste. I couldn’t eat full , because it was not so good.

We just politely asked the employee to wipe down the really sticky table so we could enjoy our pastries and coffee. Looking extremely grim, she wiped half the table, turned to her colleague, and talked about us. They both laughed. The pastries were delicious, but we still won't be coming back. What a shame.

Quick, reasonably priced, good pasty selection.

Okay bread in the morning, in the afternoon the buns are often dry. Totally bad style to have a restaurant without attached toilets, it should be illegal!

Lagkagehuset is a generic chain without much charm, but you can always count on the regular favorites and a generally high level of quality.

Great location, amazing air conditioning, good selection of drinks and food. Customer service could’ve been way better though. I know 7:30 am is early for everyone, but doesn’t hurt to be nice to customers :)

Nice food. The lack of a toilet is a big minus with children!
