Lynæs Surfcenter Halsnæs

I have had a summer house near Lynæs for the last few years and have been to the Surfcenter countless times. Overall, it is a nice place with a good atmosphere, it is hard to beat the shallow water in the bay for families. It is also clear that more people have come over the last few years, and this has had an effect that means quality has decreased and prices have increased. The burgers are served a little too quickly and lack quality assurance, the salads are typically a little boring (cabbage & edamame seem to be 90% of the surfer salad) - and this is despite the fact that the menu has not really changed over the years. The coffee has an automatic milk steamer, and in general there is less attention to detail across the board. Now comes the question: can the location and the lack of selection in the immediate area compensate for the food that is only slightly better than average, and the price level that is on the same level as, for example, Gasoline Grill in Copenhagen or Københavns Bageri in Carlsberg Byen? The conclusion from my point of view is that the food at Surfcenteret (and unfortunately also Madbaren) can no longer justify the price level. But fortunately for Surfcenteret & co that there are not many alternatives nearby. I hope they will come in the future. And until then, I will probably come back every now and then - if only to get out into the bay on a SUP.

A very pleasant, unpretentious beach restaurant. The menu is simple but effective. You place your order and pick up your food when it's ready. I recommend the salad with peanut sauce.

Went windsurfing for half a day and enjoyed it. The staff was helpful and the food was very good. They had a sauna and outdoor showers as well which was nice after windsurfing. The only small issue we had was that it took quite a long time for the food to come, but the taste was worth the wait

Nice place to get a burger with fries. But they are small so if you are hungry you should order 2 😄 Bring the kids and enjoy the surfers on the water while you eat.

Lynæs Surfcenter is simply a must-try! The burger was fantastic – incredibly good meat, and the quality can really be tasted. The homemade dressing was delicious, and the crispy fries with dip completed the meal. The service was top notch. The patient and accommodating clerk took the time to go through the menu and the different options for both me and my 82-year-old father. It made the experience extra good. If you are in the area, you should not miss a visit – and the place is definitely worth driving a long way to get there. Lynæs Surfcenter really has something on all parameters: fantastic food, great atmosphere and excellent service. Huge recommendation from here – hurray for Lynæs Surfcenter! 🍔🌊☀️

Super cozy place, down to earth and at eye level 👍 We had a combo, burger with fries 🍔🍟 which were both super good. The service is done by nice young people and there is no waiting time 👍 You can sit outside or inside and people are having fun, drinking beer, coffee, soda, many are sitting and playing a game. They have a cozy shop with many delicious products, but with prices a little too high for my taste 😬 A place where we would definitely like to come back 👍😀
