Madam Bagger Slagelse

We had booked a table for 8 people for lunch. I grew up in Korsør and have always been told that Madam Bagger is the finest restaurant in town. There was no one to greet us. When we had received the menus we sat for quite a while waiting for a waiter. When she came and took our order it took 50 minutes before everyone got their dishes. 3 people had had a herring dish while the rest of us sat and watched. Finally we had to ask if they had forgotten us. Fortunately the food was really good… especially the stir-fried tartar was absolutely fantastic. Book in advance.

We sat outside; inside it's a lovely restaurant, the food is plentiful and good. Very friendly staff.

Always great food, nice atmosphere and really good service

Funny for a German to say this about a Danish restaurant, but the menu is truly excellent value for money. The quality is also beyond reproach! A no-brainer!

Got an April menu with asparagus, hand-peeled shrimp and veal tenderloin with various. There was good flavor to everything and the tenderloin could almost be chewed with your eyelids. Excellent sauce. I then got double the dessert, as my boyfriend was full from the first 2 courses. Friendly service, quiet and calm atmosphere and got a table without a reservation. The place was nicer than I expected, so next time I'll just let my hair down..... what's left.

Nothing special or revolutionary, just plain classic food. It's neither good nor bad. Bad service, very stressed staff who don't exude friendliness
