We stopped here while driving across Denmark and stopping to see the birthplace of Hans Christen Anderson. The pizza is phenomenal! Great service, fast!

I ordered a no. 36, a pasta dish with 4 different cheeses. I don't know what happened to that. It was SO dry and there was no sauce in it. So the 4 different cheeses could have been a teaspoon full at most. Really bad experience. I won't go there again.

It's edible, but not great. The sausage seemed sour. Maybe it's the sausage itself, or maybe it's not fresh anymore, I can't say for sure. One pizza was enough for two. What I didn't like: the forks we ate on the table were clearly worn, and it's unclear how long they've been sitting there or how clean they are.

🎉🎉🎉What an experience 👍👍👍 I have never had such a good pasta and Pizza..An experience beyond the ordinary at an Italian restaurant..What a service that is so fantastic. And MEGA much food for the money. Super drinks and coffee and liqueur And it tastes heavenly 👍❤️👍❤️👍

Café Skt. Gertrud

25/05/2026: You could be wrong and think Café Skt. Gertrud is a classic mainstream café/restaurant with a focus on tourists and populism. But I was fooled because this is a bit of a gem in Odense City Center. I had the fish of the day and it was really delicious. On the day we were there, they served Redfish, which is not that easy to prepare. It was both crispy on the skin and juicy in the center of the meat. Definitely top marks for that. I would have preferred new potatoes as a side dish because of the season, but there was nothing wrong with the side dishes despite my wishes. There was a super delicious sauce, salad vegetables and pasta. We also got a lovely Sancerre white wine to go with it. The waiters were very attentive and service-minded.
08/05/2026: Picked up coffee one day, recognized me the next! Also ordered a toast with avocado and salmon, tasted super delicious for a light lunch. Although it may be a bit expensive in some eyes, I think it was 100% worth it.
