Brilliant - absolutely stunning

I had an excellent experience at Mangai Restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, cozy, and very welcoming. The employees were incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout my visit. The food was exceptionally tasty, full of rich flavors, and beautifully presented. The wine selection was also impressive, and the glass I had paired wonderfully with my meal. Overall, Mangai is a place I would happily visit again and highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and a pleasant dining experience.

Food was okay and the atmosphere is nice but the portions are way too small

I had been looking forward to an evening at Mangia, as Mr. Skovgaard always hits it pretty well, but here I had to leave with a bit of a mediocre feeling. 6 servings 550 kr. A small filled (I guess) gouttes de poivrons, but a quarter of a sardine on top. A quarter-filled plate of tartar that I was going to share with three others A padron pepper, a slice of eggplant and a slice of zucchini with a spoonful of straciatella - 16 strozzapreti with a sprinkle of rabbit - 8 calamari rings and two leeks - Tiramisu I think the little bites we put out were damn delicious - but to call it a 'dish' is really stretching the truth for a petit four. The tartar was met with divided opinions, but the cupboard, but that 100 grams of tartar had to be divided into four, started the suspicion - am I going to leave the table hungry? Did we choose a la carte? Grilled greens with stracciatela were excellent, very Italian and rustic as it should be, but also a bit boring. Rabbit ragout was the next element, which I always look forward to. And while the taste was clearly the highlight of the day, I unfortunately had to make do with diving into the plate three times before the vanishing small portion was gone. The octopus was a bit overcooked and served very naked, only accompanied by a grilled leek. I missed butter, or cream or dip. The tiramisu was excellent, but I have clearly had better. Is the point of a restaurant visit to be wheeled out on a flatbed truck due to overeating; no. Should one's fork have been up to one's mouth more than 16 times on a 6-course menu; definitely. A few sloppy servings bring us down to four, but historically small portions and five men who had to search for a late-night snack unfortunately drag the visit down to three. The waiters were so sweet and super attentive and helpful

Came to celebrate a birthday. Ordered a menu. It was delicious, all dishes were served at the right time. The staff is friendly, knows what to do. The experience is wonderful 😊

Simple place, good atmosphere and good food. As a starter I took Melanzane and unfortunately it was not served completely hot, but it was good. Plin was incredibly good. Tortelli svingod. Battuta di manzo, good! Super small dishes so I have to say that it is very expensive for what you get. Service good and nice. Recommend.

Great food and friendly staff! Had the “Plin al fondo d’arrosto” and it was amazing, as well as the raspberry gelato!

The food is delicious and the surroundings are cozy, despite the very spartan decor. The pasta with octopus was a favorite in particular. We ordered two glasses of wine with the meal, which were subsequently refilled by the waiter himself, without being asked if we wanted an extra glass - and for which they even charged us. Really bad service.

Nice restaurant! Food is good but comes in small portions. Love the tiramisù. Nice and friendly staff! 🩵⭐️
