With my friend in tow, we went to Masken on Friday evening to a recent visit to Copenhagen. What a fun bar! We first met Oliver, what a fun, charming young man. We laughed and shared stories about living the US and Denmark. We later met David, and another Oliver, and Mas. All engaging, charming which we enjoyed our chats very much. We went back Saturday afternoon and after dinner back for one more night cap on Saturday evening. We said our good byes and they gave us great big hugs as we left. We both kept talking about how everyone was so nice in Copenhagen! Thanks guys for the great times and memories! We will be back!

I think it was a fantastic evening yesterday with cold beers when you look at the pack of snus you bought at the bar for almost double the price of what it should have cost and then you see the expiry date is June 16, 2025 Maybe you should pay more attention to this and especially when you charge double the price And a very offended bartender who says it doesn't help and raises his hand so because you were service at the end after I had been standing and waiting for 15 minutes almost not okay I raise my hand because the bar is full so I just wanted to indicate that I would like to buy a beer

Visited this bar regularly with friends during my stay in Copenhagen and every single one of us had an absolute blast! I would fully recommend it. I made memories at this place that are going to stay with me for life. The drinks are very affordable and the staff are ALL kind, friendly, supportive, and sweet! There’s plenty of space as they serve from two floors and the location is amazing too! Lovely atmosphere and having visited other gay clubs in Copenhagen, I can confidently say that this one was my favourite! :)

Café & Ølhalle "1892"

16/12/2025: It was a super cozy place with the finest small pieces of open sandwiches. The waiters and the atmosphere in the place were top notch.
07/12/2025: We had dinner today at the cafe and beer hall "1892". Our second visit to the restaurant, but definitely not the last. The food is unbeatable open sandwiches ad libitum. I think there were over 30 different kinds, I managed to get through 15 pieces and each one was a pleasure. The open sandwiches are not huge like some other places in town, which means you can taste several different pieces of open sandwiches before your stomach is full. The quality and taste of the open sandwiches are in a class of their own, as is their staff who have time for their customers. The homemade schnapps is definitely worthy of a recommendation. If you like open sandwiches, this is the place to visit in cozy historical surroundings. A big thank you to the owner and staff for a perfect evening. See you again soon.

Christiania Jazz Club

15/04/2026: Unfortunately, it has become a non-smoking place.
13/07/2025: Charming in the Christiania way, a typical dark windowless (but not in a basement) jazz club on a voluntary basis, payment by cash only. The band we heard (Neset, Lyssarides, Eger and Linder) was so good that it was a great intimate atmosphere, and good sound for everyone involved. Looks like there is room for about 100 people, 75 seated (estimate)
