Nice large selection of delicious rolls and cakes. We just needed a place where we could sit down and eat our breakfast, and we could do that here 😊👍 If you are sensitive to sound, there may be a bit of noise from the shop, air conditioning, etc.

We were passing through and stopped at this bakery and were served by a very nice saleswoman 😀 in German 😁.

Very good coffee, with a wide variety of sweet and savory items.

Nielsen's Bageri is located in the small town of Padborg, right on the German-Danish border. Inconspicuously situated inside a supermarket, it boasts a huge glass counter that not only offers a vast selection but also showcases each cake, pastry, and tart with more beautiful and intricate decorations than the last. We were just passing through and, as a farewell to Denmark, we had to grab something quickly. We opted for a wonderfully sticky cinnamon roll with icing and a delicious, soft, and moist cake with lemon cream and meringue. The residents of Padborg are truly fortunate to have such a hidden gem in their small, unassuming town. Superb baking artistry and definitely not your average supermarket bakery!

It looked good, but I was actually at the pharmacy across the street.

Unfortunately, the cake was already quite worn out. It was probably too late at 3 pm. What a shame.

Nice little café and good bread. The only let down was the noise from the ventilation.

A bakery that serves you well. Bread, cake, sandwiches, pizza and other things. Always fresh, crunchy, soft as I should be. The staff all speak Danish, German and English - so that's no issue. A few tables to eat at while on go - or to shelter from the rain. A part of Brugsen where you can buy all other things for your everyday life or bicycle trip.

We like to buy baked goods here, but charging 70 cents every time for slicing bread is disappointing. The seating area could be swept more often. Otherwise, the goods are tasty.

Absolutely delicious. And a fantastic price for the portion size.
