Best homemade pasta in Copenhagen

I had the most amazing dinner at Piola - I’m from London and so when I travel I try to make sure I’m booking genuinely good restaurants instead of something that’s all flash with lacklustre food. We had the set menu which includes slightly smaller portions of their top-pick items. Everything was amazing. I’m a pescatarian and they even switched up the meat options for me no fuss. The waiters were super knowledgeable and the place had a really lovely intimate neighbourhood vibe. Even though the portions were smaller you get a lot of food with the set menu. Highly recommend!!!

Perfect pasta and fascinating to sit at the bar and watch how a top-efficient team makes everything in the restaurant run like a well-oiled machine and at the same time manages to be present to the guests.

I’ve had a fabulous time at piola! food was fantastic and the service was great, Giuseppe is passionate about his products and its recepies. Would recommand without a doubt !

Simple, Italian, good...The food was great all evening, the waiters had a good overview of the table's needs and ensured a good pace for the evening. So all in all an excellent experience Note: The place is not big, so it's a good idea to book a table in advance.

Excellent food. Had the menu and it was perfect. At a very decent price. Nice wine as well. Lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.

A lovely little gem for pasta lovers. The pasta is clearly homemade and it shows — perfectly textured, full of flavour. Small and cozy space, genuinely warm team. Tiramisu was decent but didn’t quite reach the same heights. Reservation is a must. Can’t wait to return.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
