Went to Christmas lunch at Klinten, beautiful surroundings, the food was nothing special, service and staff were nice

Service staff was great, friendly and nice. Food was okay, the cold section was great, vegan options great and fresh but the warm section was disappointing, wasn't really warm, Luke at best which is not really nice for squid rings and fried fish.

World class food and service! 🙌 We had delicious and juicy steaks and were welcomed right at the entrance by the best staff in the world! We even got a glass of bubbles as a welcome. All this on a completely ordinary Monday. But here they go the extra mile for their guests - and that should be recognized! It's definitely worth a return visit! We are very satisfied!

Delicious place and surroundings, delicious food and the most lovely sweet and attentive waiters. You really felt welcome, seen, heard and waited on. And there was some entertainment, the sun was going to be sung down. It was raining, but despite that, the poor man stood out in the rain and played the trombone. Festive and just right, not too long and not too short. 🤗 A thoroughly lovely experience to come out and eat on a Monday evening. Line Jensen

We have been coming here every year since 2018. The food is delicious, the view is amazing and the staff is super friendly. Summer 2025: The fish buffet has been expanded with a vegan buffet with organic vegetables from Bjørnø. It doesn't get any more local than that. Still possible to order a steak if you're not into everything good from the sea. We also tried their takeaway with "fish and chips" Really good. The breading reminded me of the old Greenland rolls Royal Greenland, if you're old enough to remember them. The staff is still super friendly. Autumn 2024: Here we are again. No fish buffet but a menu with dishes inspired by royal dinners. The view of Faaborg Fjord can also do something in the autumn. Summer 2023: At Klinten again Now with a super delicious fish buffet. Everything good from the sea. Still super friendly staff. The covered terrace is finished. Grill and jazz with roast suckling pig every Wednesday during the summer holidays Summer 2022: At Klinten for 5 years in a row. Repeat of the previous years. The outdoor area is being renovated with a new wooden terrace and roof, so you can sit outside in the shelter despite the wind and weather. Summer 2021: At Klinten for 4 years in a row. A repeat of all the previous years. New and simpler but absolutely exciting menu. As usual friendly service. Summer 2020: Another lovely dinner at Klinten. The terrace has been renovated. New menu and the youngest likes the option for steak, where you choose the size, cut, sauce and how the steak should be cooked. Large wine list with many of the wines by the glass and not just the house. Super friendly staff. Summer 2019: So we've been there again - this time with the grandparents. Still just as delicious and cozy. Fantastic view of the South Funen archipelago and the food still just as delicious and well-cooked. Super friendly service. Summer 2018: Restaurants at holiday centers are usually noisy places and the food is of varying quality. It must also be difficult when all guests have the opportunity to prepare their own food. There is a formidable view over the water. We have had both lunch and dinner on 2 different days. Both days the food has been well-cooked. The service was friendly. We had homemade fish cakes with dill for lunch. For dinner we tried the catch of the day and their beef steak. According to the menu, all the beef is from Freygaard and is from Finland. It should be without hormones and growth promoters. The steak was at least tender and juicy. We ended up with a bill of 1,200 for 4 people with 2 courses and drinks.

Klinten is a declared fish restaurant, so the menu consisted of a long “boat” filled with delicious, inviting fish dishes. A lovely tasting experience - with the beautiful view of Faaborg Fjord as a bonus.
