Restaurant Remouladen Vejle

Lovely restaurant. Super good food and wine. Very very nice and welcoming waiters. Highly recommended.

Came with friends and got a star shot. My expectations were high when I read that Remouladen focuses on lunch dishes and delicious open sandwiches. The size was a bit below what I associate with a solid lunch dish, but the price was still adult. The quality was okay, although I don't like a simple toasted bread on the bottom. (...ok that's my choice...) The atmosphere, service and view are top notch, and that brings home the 4th star.

We came here for lunch based on the reviews we have read online. I am not quite sure if our experience was different because we were English speaking couple, but it was quite different than what I have read. We got lunch menu, some of the sandwiches, desserts and coffee. The food was in general salty and always there was a flavor that overpowered the rest. There was nothing really explained about the dish that you were being served and I have been to quite some restaurants in Denmark, where the price point was lower and the attitude way batter. The desserts were absolute miss, the capuccino tasted worse than coffee from normal (the shop). The view is absolutely gorgeous- I would say that is where the money goes. Everything else falls short.

Brought a cranky 21 month old and the restaurant had little something for kids just like many places im denmark! Also a great place for chatting over drinks in an intimate and cosy setting for small groups or pairs. Personable service staff

The prices are on the expensive side, but the experience is worth it.

A wonderful place to experience Danish cuisine for the first time. The menu feels thoughtful and authentic, while still being approachable, and everything we had was beautifully presented. The pairings were excellent and really elevated the whole experience, making each dish feel well-balanced and considered. You can tell there’s a lot of care put into both the food and how it’s served. Overall, a fantastic introduction to Danish food — refined, delicious, and memorable. Would highly recommend, especially for first-time visitors.
