Really delicious food, but the portions are too small. When you have to go through a 4-course menu, you are not supposed to be hungry afterwards. This can be solved by serving some potatoes or more vegetables with the main courses, then you will avoid the somewhat sad experience

We had a fantastic meal last night. Let's start with the fish. My husband had the scallop dish and said it was excellent; his favorite dish in Holbaek. My fish entree with incredible vegetables (the mushrooms and corn had so much flavor)! I had never eaten a whitefish cooked with a light piece of toast on top; delicious. My husband loved his halibut entree as well. The amuse bouche (I don't know the Danish term for it 🤔) was a plate of four little bites of both seafood and ham. The two other parts of the meal ambiance and service: what a joy to eat a meal without loud music, struggling to hear others at the table. A very pleasant dining room with a view of boats in the harbor. And Camille delivered 5 star service; personable, attentive, knowledgeable about the ingredients and preparation--she is a total pro. Kudos to the chef and his team. A great finish to our week in Denmark.

Really cozy place and the food was definitely worth the trip. Tasted super delicious and their IPA is definitely recommended. Will definitely come again.

I had booked a table for 13 people and given the chef free rein to decide on a menu with many small dishes and an accompanying wine menu. We were given a fantastic menu consisting of 10 dishes with an equally fantastic wine menu. The staff made everything run perfectly, everyone got what they wanted, and the table was constantly filled with water, so I could just enjoy the company of my guests and the fantastic servings. I can only recommend others to have dinner at SuRi under the same conditions.

We celebrated a 60th birthday with a dinner for two at Suri. We chose the menu “An evening at Suri” a kind of tasting menu as well as a welcome drink, wine menu and coffee. In terms of taste, the experience was really good – the food was tasty. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not live up to expectations. The term “tasting menu” apparently has to be taken very literally, because the portions were simply too small. The main course consisted of a very small and thin piece of bread-fried halibut, approx. 5x5x5 cm, 3 green asparagus and 2 morels. When the main course was served, we were still so hungry that we asked if it was possible to get some bread. The answer was that bread was not included in the menu! When you pay 3,200 kr. for a dinner for two people, you do not expect to leave hungry – or to have to go home and look in the fridge afterwards. Unfortunately, the service also slowed down. We were served by an inexperienced young waitress who seemed unsure several times. One example was when presenting one of the wines, where she said it came from Spain, even though the label clearly said Italy in front of us. When we politely commented on this, the response was: “Well, the waiter said it was from Spain.” Overall, the food was tasty, but the portion sizes and service made the experience not worth the price.

They forgot about us when we ordered, and it took quite a while, but the staff were so friendly and apologized so much that it didn't matter. The stay was very nice, and we'd love to come back.
