I never write reviews but for this one I have to. Me and my Husband celebrated our second wedding anniversary yesterday at Ripotot. We had the 10 course dinner to share and oh my god. Literally perfection. It just got better and better with every bite and we have to say this was one of the best dinner we’ve had. Also big compliments to the servers Yannik and the girl with the bun (forgot to ask their name). Both were super friendly and attentive and very knowledgeable about the food. We can’t wait to come back !

An ordinary Monday evening turned into an enchanting experience I will never forget. Fantastic atmosphere when you enter the high room, raised above the city street noise. We were welcomed by a happy and welcoming restaurant manager, I think, very professional with elegance. We ordered two starters, a 6-course menu, and consisting of a complete composition. We could not eat more, but decided to share three different desserts anyway. We asked for help with the wine and got wine that was perfectly matched to the food. I will never forget this dining experience, and I will definitely come again. Thank you to the entire staff for a wonderful evening. Unfortunately, we forgot to take pictures, but it was beautiful.

16/12/2025: It was a super cozy place with the finest small pieces of open sandwiches. The waiters and the atmosphere in the place were top notch.
07/12/2025: We had dinner today at the cafe and beer hall "1892". Our second visit to the restaurant, but definitely not the last. The food is unbeatable open sandwiches ad libitum. I think there were over 30 different kinds, I managed to get through 15 pieces and each one was a pleasure. The open sandwiches are not huge like some other places in town, which means you can taste several different pieces of open sandwiches before your stomach is full. The quality and taste of the open sandwiches are in a class of their own, as is their staff who have time for their customers. The homemade schnapps is definitely worthy of a recommendation. If you like open sandwiches, this is the place to visit in cozy historical surroundings. A big thank you to the owner and staff for a perfect evening. See you again soon.

26/10/2025: Famo Saxo undoubtedly delivers Italian food of a very high standard. The dishes are authentic, based on excellent ingredients (which you can taste are sourced from Italy), and the kitchen really masters the simple but tasteful approach. The food alone deserves top marks. Unfortunately, the dining experience was dragged down by the surroundings. The restaurant is incredibly popular, which means that the small room is far too crowded. You sit uncomfortably close together, and the high noise level makes it difficult to have a conversation. Unfortunately, the 'lively' Italian atmosphere tips over and becomes more stressful and chaotic. If you're going for the taste alone, Famo Saxo is a winner. But the cramped and hectic atmosphere takes away a lot of the enjoyment of the otherwise excellent meal.
