Get ready to step into pastry heaven! I havent tasted such a delicious raspberry pastry in a long long time! High quality coffee, very keen and helpful service. Elegant nostalgic interior and calm yet bustling athmosphere. 100% recommend and will come again!

Extremely good breakfast with homemade bread/dough.

What a lovely place, especially on a sunny afternoon at the beginning of summer. I met a friend for a catch up and we enjoyed a coffee drink and a pastry. Super friendly staff both at the counter and for the service table. The place has great interior and the pastries we picked were delicious. Great location right outside the main train station. The bakery doubles up as a restaurant too.

I really didn't want to like my cinnamon swirl this much but it was truly exceptional. Fair play Rug Bakery, you know how to make a pastry. There's a cold water tap, indoor and outdoor seating. Order your pastry at the counter and take it to your seat (or take it away).

Both pastries and drinks were excellent here. The chai has a lovely floral flavour and the coffee is superb. Very easily accessible from Copenhagen Central Station (with a small area to set luggage aside inside the door while you enjoy.) Very unique antique/industrial decor makes for a cozy and unique coffee break!

A lovely café/restaurant with a relaxed, modern atmosphere. * The breakfast and pastries are especially recommended – fresh, high-quality, and delicious. * Great coffee and a good overall selection of food and drinks. * Friendly and attentive service, even when it's quite busy. * The decor is typically Scandinavian: simple, cozy, and tasteful. * Not cheap for Copenhagen, but the quality and ambiance justify the price. Overall, a very nice spot for breakfast, coffee, or a relaxed snack – highly recommended!

Mostly self-service café style, but the food and atmosphere were great. Their pastries were amazing. I also ordered a margarita pizza; the dough crust was nicely burnt, adding a smoky taste. But the highlight was the sourdough and plain butter. It was the best sourdough I’ve ever had. Copenhagen is known for its high standards for sourdough, but really, this was unforgettable.
