Slotsbageren Aalborg

Slotsbageriet is a small and cozy bakery gem in the middle of Boulevarden in Aalborg. It is an obvious place for a good afternoon coffee, something sweet or freshly baked bread, and there are also a few cozy seats by the window. The place is especially known for its large chocolate buns with lots of chocolate, but there is also long-risen bread and a delicious selection of classic cakes such as raspberry scones, marzipan scones and pies. A nice place if you are more into good craftsmanship and a homely bakery atmosphere than the big chains. Opening hours are Monday–Saturday 12.45–19.30, while it is closed on Sunday. Can definitely be recommended to anyone with a sweet tooth – especially if you have not yet tried their chocolate buns.

Very delicious and excellent. The staff is also very friendly. I ordered a number of chocolate bread for my new colleagues, and happy that we all like their very nice chocolate bread!

The bread was really good. But the service wasn't great, she was talking on the phone while she was checking on me.
