SOZE Kaffebar & Risteri Faaborg-Midtfyn

We happened to be passing by and picked up some coffee beans. The advice was excellent and the coffee is delicious!

This is a nice place. There is seating inside and outside. Homemade kombucha is served, as well as different other drinks and snacks. We ordered and paid at the counter. It took some time for the coffee to arrive, while other guests that had arrived after us left with to go coffees. The coffee was okay. It’s great that it’s available decaf (which is rarely the case in Denmark), but I would recommend tweaking the oat milk that is currently used and maybe having another look at the coffee. It was far from the worst coffee I have had, but I had expected much more from a coffee roaster. My daughter, who usually chugs her decaf oat latte, found it too sour and left me half a glass. The oat milk looked strange - a bit like it had curdled. The croissant was okay, but nothing to swoon about. It lacked crispness and volume. Although the service is very friendly and the atmosphere is nice this is not going to be a go-to spot for me due to the coffee situation.

If you are looking for a warm and friendly welcome, a chilled out vibe and just about the most perfect flat white coffee, then definitely come here. And as if that isn't enough, a warm chocolate brownie served with vanilla ice cream put me into chocolate pudding heaven with a special mention also going to the banana cake made to Grandma Elsie's special recipe. Thanks, we'll be back. 😍

Good atmosphere, kind people and good coffee!

​It is always a special pleasure when the reunion with a place lives up to the memories – and in this case even surpasses them. After a six-year break, it was a real pleasure to visit SOZE again during the trip past Fåborg. ​SOZE still manages to cement its position as one of the places to visit if you value a coffee experience beyond the ordinary. ​Highlights from the visit: ​Mango Madness: A fantastic refreshing drink that impressed with its flavor profile and quality. ​Iced coffee: Classic and well-prepared – exactly as a good iced coffee should be. ​Atmosphere: The place manages to create a setting that is both inviting and comfortable, which makes the experience complete. ​It is clear that SOZE maintains a high standard and still masters the art of delivering high-quality craftsmanship. If you are near Faaborg, this is definitely worth a stop for anyone who loves a good cup of coffee or a delicious cold drink in cozy surroundings. ​A big recommendation from here – it is a pleasure to see that the standard is as high as we remembered it.

Cozy good place with large terrace and view. Very nice service. The selection was fine and can only be recommended if you land in Faaborg.
