When we arrived, we were immediately greeted very enthusiastically by the employee, who showed us to a table right away and took our order when we were finished. The food arrived quite quickly and the burgers were very tasty. I had the Hot as Hell burger, and it was spicy as indicated. The only reason the food doesn't get 5 stars is because the fish and chips looked like a kid's portion, but otherwise, it was very good and delicious. It is also a beautiful location on a beautiful square.

Unfortunately, not recommended! We stopped here by chance while visiting Kolding. The outdoor seating is quite nice, and the location and the restaurant itself were appealing. As long-time visitors to Denmark, we're familiar with the high prices. It's always painful, then, when the quality doesn't match! The Hot as Hell Burger was tasty, but unfortunately nothing special, and the portion was quite small for the price. The patty on the Chunky Chicken Burger was definitely undercooked in places, so our daughter couldn't finish it. We were too embarrassed to mention it... But to be served such poor quality at these prices is simply unacceptable! We probably won't be returning to Kolding. And if we do, it definitely won't be to the Stay Café again! The price/performance ratio is simply not right here! Find a better restaurant; there's sure to be one!

Very delicious food and friendly service

Really lovely café in Kolding with a great atmosphere and a beautiful setting. We had the brunch and were genuinely impressed by the quality — everything was fresh, tasty and beautifully presented, with a really nice variety of flavours. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. A perfect place for a relaxed brunch, good food and a cosy atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!

Excellent service. The waitress was very friendly and offered us complimentary glasses of water (normally charged!). She even made me a Monaco (a type of iced coffee) even though she wasn't familiar with the drink. Very good service.

So i am German and went by accident to the streetfood festival - there we ordered. I am not lying when I say it was one of the best burgers and fries I aet in a while. The severs were more than welcoming - so kind and generious. I can just suggest going there as a must go. Vor allem an die Deutsche: ES LOHNT SICH.
