We all got 4 courses. Super experience, lovely service.

We were quite impressed to discover that a bottle of tap water for four people costs 240 DKK—more than some beverages. If this is standard practice when guests don’t order alcohol, it would be helpful to indicate it on the menu. Not everyone chooses to drink alcohol in the morning, and the surprise made the experience less enjoyable.

Overall, just an honest and super good place, in terms of food, service and atmosphere.

A Danish friend took us to this place and we couldn’t have been more grateful. The restaurant has a charming vintage atmosphere with a beautiful view of the ferry — the kind of setting that makes you want to linger. The food was simply splendid. The menu is a lovely representation of modern Danish cuisine, with a strong focus on seafood and recipes that genuinely reflect the flavours of Denmark. A highlight were the small Danish potatoes — humble, but absolutely delicious and so authentically local. The service was warm and very attentive throughout. This is exactly the kind of place you’d only discover through a local, and exactly the kind of place you’ll want to come back to. Highly recommended!

We had our wedding reception and lunch at the STREJF and we couldn’t have been happier! The communication organization prior to our wedding was more than superb! The entire menu was made uniquely on our wishes, and when the day came, everything was just perfect and exquisite! Since we live in Germany and organized everything from there, we trusted the crew of the STREJF wholeheartedly, and were more than pleasantly surprised with the results! We had a wonderful reception and lunch with all of our friends and family, and everybody was accommodated! The service was so friendly and welcoming, and the food was nothing but excellent and a one-of-a-kind experience! Thank you STREJF team! You made our day special and unforgettable!

We celebrate our wedding lunch here on the 5th July 2025. Huge thanks to everyone for making everything so seamless and special. 10/10 service, food, and vibes. Highly recommended!

Good sandwiches, especially the one with herring

Both the mushroom toast and the steak sandwich lacked a bit of flavor. And the price of both was WAY WAY too high for what you got. The service was friendly, but a little too absent. A somewhat mixed experience, and I'm not sure I'll come back.
