Thai Kok København

We have missed Thai Kok in Hillerød for many years, it was the only decent place. When I was in Valby today I had to have real Thai food again and it lived up to the high standards that I had been looking forward to.

There are many Thai restaurants in Copenhagen, but it is surprisingly difficult to find places where the taste is not adapted to Danish taste buds and where the focus is on the food rather than the decor (because let's be honest: it's the food that counts). Here they hit the spot. We ordered somtam and massaman curry, and both dishes tasted authentic and exactly like in Thailand. The flavors were deep, balanced and clearly made with respect for Thai cuisine. The portions were large and satisfying. The papaya salad could have been spicier, or have the option to choose the strength like you can with other dishes, which is a huge plus 😍🌶️ We chose the restaurant spontaneously because it first appeared on Wolt, but it certainly won't be the last time. Real, delicious and spicy Thai food, so nothing but 5 stars from here ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
