Stops serving food at 2 pm so I didn't get to try it sadly.

This is a staff canteen that happens to be open to the public too… some people might take a quick glance and wonder to themselves if they’ve seen you at work before, but otherwise the service staff is so warm and friendly. The food is top notch - super fresh, thoughtfully prepared and just plain satisfying. Absolutely worth the detour.

This place is really hard to find but worth it

Amazing buffet food! Tasty and of high quality. The tough part is to get to the place as there are no signs. One needs to get into the building 40A and climb up two flights of stairs. And there it is!

Our go-to lunch place is closed on mondays and we live nearby, so we came to try The Lab Kitchen. Finding the place is a bit tricky and it feels like you are entering an area you shouldn't be in, but following the video on their page you can easily find it. You are met by an extremely bright and beautifully decorated industrial-stile dining room, with 5 or 6 long tables (mostly empty). You can tell design and attention to details emanates from every corner. The food is canteen/buffet style. You get a plate and you can fill it yourself with whatever is available today. The menu changes every day, and looking at this week's menu, it can range from pasta to frikadeller to gazpacho. Today we got some very good pasta and some vegetables, with a delicious focaccia and pesto dip. We went for seconds. Giving 4 stars just because the price is really a little too high. This place is open only at lunch and is not in an easy to reach or exclusive or densely frequented location. As beautiful and delicious as it might be, 180 dkk for a canteen style experience feels a little over the edge. But if you are fine with that, I 100% recommend coming over for a delicious lunch!
