Thuro Stuen Svendborg

Thurø Stuen is more of a cozy, older-style pub than a classic restaurant. The value for money is excellent: the portions are very generous, and the food was consistently delicious – honest, traditional German cuisine at its best! The staff was consistently friendly, and everything was spotless. The menu is manageable (around three children's menus and six or seven main courses), which is perfectly adequate. Our only, but significant, criticism: upon entering, you immediately notice the smell of smoking. This is a real drawback if you're traveling with children. If you can overlook this, you'll get good, honest food for your money.

Excellent schnitzel, the beef patty was also cooked to perfection. Great music, old Danish style. Two dishes, four beers: 450 DKK... Uncomfortable.

If you like Danish, classic inn food, then this is the place for you! Really cozy place with a very nice staff. The food was also really good, and the portions were big. Furthermore, the prices are really good, and water is free. Super nice place to visit if you are on Thurø.

We were a bit lost when we came in - 1 single guest was eating + 1 local and had a beer - but now we were inside - The host politely told us about the menu (needed a clean T-shirt😃) we ordered and were then served fantastic Paris steak + Stjerneskud freshly prepared 👍👍👍 so all in all a lovely surprisingly good lunch PS! Nice clean toilets - so Thurø Stuen is definitely a visit every 🌞 Have a nice summer
