28/12/2025: Food was delicious, and well portioned. Friendly staff and a very comfortable space. Went here with a group of 6 and everyone was very happy with what they ordered. I got a complete breakfast, every component was excellent. Highly recommend.

02/05/2026: I've heard of the happy penguin since I was young 40 years ago and imagined something very worn out, but I was pleasantly surprised by the place, everything spotlessly clean, cozy and super friendly service. We got a wiener schnitzel which in my opinion was a little dry at the edges, I love them juicy in the meat, side dishes were okay, but not many potatoes. But it was super cozy.

27/04/2026: Cozy place. Possibility of lighter café food. Large selection of beers. Pub quiz has unfortunately been taken off the poster. Ate steak sticks. Pretty boring meat. Nice salad and fries. Perfect service from the young girls.

08/10/2025: They are crazy about wild experimental flavors in their cocktails - and you get help to understand some of the ingredients, which are not always something you have even seen or heard of before. One on one experience - in a cool way!

07/09/2025: A bit disappointing visit compared to previous ones. The waiter started off nicely by saying he was our personal waiter, but when the drinks arrived, they were just thrown on the table, and no one knew if they had gotten the right one. Disgusting smell from the toilet. Don't bother having a 'toilet table' next time. Edited 5/9-25: The place needs some rethinking. Cocktails are not as fancy as 5 years ago.

16/06/2025: På listen over jazzsteder i København finder man ikke Hvide Lam, som er det eneste sted i byen, som præsenterer jazz alle ugens dage, og har har gjort det i mere end 30 år. Her finder man både unge løver og kendte jazzfolk i løbet af ugen i forskellige konstellationer. Et sted, som både frekventeres af et stampublikum, unge i byen og turister, som tilfældigt kommer forbi. Uformel atmosfære, hvor man hurtigt kommer i snak med andre i lokalet og er tæt på musikken. Hvide Lam er et af byens ældste værtshuse, som har eksisteret lige siden Københavns borbardement i 1807. Lammet er ikke rygefrit område.

01/11/2025: Really good place to drink lots of shit food, thought for a short while the place was actually in Berlin (very lively place but okay) came here to have a few beers but some turned into a lot and only went back to my lovely houseboat on Amager much later than I was supposed to because I had to pick some seagulls tomorrow morning on the beach with AMA, but otherwise a cool place

14/11/2025: Fantastic brunch. It looks really bad in the pictures but it really is great. At one point there was some kind of very loud company party going on in there, so we had to leave again as we are very sensitive to sound. Otherwise it is great.

22/04/2026: Super sweet and friendly service, without being pushy. Excellent meal. Possibility to bring a dog is great. I don't even mind having to tip = more desire to tip for me.
