28/12/2025: Food was delicious, and well portioned. Friendly staff and a very comfortable space. Went here with a group of 6 and everyone was very happy with what they ordered. I got a complete breakfast, every component was excellent. Highly recommend.
18/12/2025: One of the loveliest cafes I’ve ever been to!!! Super cosy interior and great service. Coffee is lovely too!

31/05/2026: We drove by with the goal to go some other place but Gavlen looked so nice and cozy from the outside that we had to go in. Sounds funny but it actually smells cozy in there. We had a great time and will recommend the place to friends

08/07/2025: Este restaurante es muy acogedor y el lugar perfecto para tener una conversación con un amigo. A pesar de que sigo una dieta sin gluten, pude disfrutar de una sabrosa cerveza sin gluten. Este restaurante me recuerda a los pubs británicos, donde los clientes conversan y no miran televisores de pantalla grande que muestran deportes o noticias.

15/12/2025: Such a cozy and inviting bar. The staff are genuinely friendly, the beer selection on tap is excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and relaxed. I stopped by solo and felt completely comfortable a great place to sit, enjoy a beer, and slow down.
02/12/2025: Nice beer bar, too bad they mostly only serve their own rather mediocre Flying Couch beers and rarely change them. Pretty good place for a good date, though ☺️

High, high class, delicious food all the way through and service top notch
Deserved bib in Michelin, maybe it's fat to only give four stars, but the fifth is what gives the star in Michelin
And it's great that there are these places that are satisfied with bib and not the stars
Highly recommended, next time we will try their four dishes vegan

23/09/2025: Having lived abroad for over three decades this place reminds me of an American diner. Basic goodness and milieu and food served with pride: I had the fish and I can’t wait to return. A limited menu - and do make reservations bc the chef honors the reservations in and that those customers are guaranteed a full choice from the menu. The place gives you the feeling of a home cooked dinner. I enjoyed the wines as well.
04/09/2025: It's not so often we get such friendly and warm staff at a restaurant. Menu is short, which is the best sign of freshness according to me. Veggie burger is astonishing with fresh vegetables and the best veggie patty I've tasted to far. I would come back regularly if I lived here :-)

09/06/2026: The saltiest most rubbery "roasted chicken" that has ever assaulted my taste buds. It was the texture of pencil erasers. One of the worst meals I've ever over paid for. My partner's sea bass wasn't much better. Shame it was our last night in Copenhagen.
Beers were ok. Courtyard was nice.
31/05/2026: Had nice beer and burger sat night service was great. Shout out to Sander lovely friendly guy ..
