08/09/2026: Værftets Madmarked has become a must-visit for us whenever we're in the region. We've been here several times and always love coming back.
The selection of different street food stalls is fantastic and offers something for everyone. We've always had a delicious meal here.
But what makes Madmarked so special for us is the atmosphere. The old halls are incredibly uniquely decorated – with a mix of old and antique furniture, different tables and chairs, and lots of little details. It's precisely this imperfection that gives it its special charm.
It's a wonderful place to sit with good food, watch the hustle and bustle, and simply enjoy the atmosphere.
For us, it's definitely one of our favorite spots in Helsingør and a clear recommendation if you're in the area. We'll definitely be back!

11/08/2026: I had the poke bowl.
It had no taste, few ingredients and it was expensive.
The worst and most expensive poke bowl in Copenhagen. There are many places in Nørrebro, and they are all much better.
Supposedly they have three variants, but they only had tuna. Wuaw.
This place cannot be recommended.
30/07/2026: Pleasant place with truly exceptional service! The food was hit-or-miss, though, the fish burger was on the dry side. Still worth a visit for the good vibes and hospitality

18/08/2026: I ordered mushroom and cheese pizza, very reasonable price 82 krons. The taste is decent for a quick bite. I took away the pizza and ate it on the bench at the nearby canal.

26/08/2026: Good fish and chips🐟 We especially liked the batter, it had an almost curry-spiced flavour to it. We couldn’t quite put our finger on what it was, but it tasted really nice! We also liked the outdoor seating, where you can sit and watch everyone walking and cycling past. Service was quick too
21/08/2026: Interesting menu, but it was not flavourful enough, if they improve on this point it would deserve 4.5 stars which the note of a good restaurant 🙂

19/08/2026: Butter chicken bhuna was good, but daal was full of excess water, indicating it was reheated from the freezer. Also, there was a hair embedded in the naan. Samosas were good, but very small. A bit of a disappointing experience unfortunately.
30/05/2026: Really good Indian food and friendly service. Portions are very large making it very good value for money.

16/12/2025: 2-3 bites and i was done. Probably the worst sharwarma meat I've ever had.
14/12/2025: Ordered a “shawarma sandwich” menu which includes a pita bread, fries, mayo and a drink. The pita bread was seriously underwhelming with extremely dry meat and a tasteless salad. The fires where under salted and cooked in unchanged black oil. The mayo was from a packet that you had to press out. Lastly the drink I ordered was a Coca Cola which came in a 25cl cup with two ice cubes. Overall disappointing experience which felt like a tourist scam

09/08/2026: A very tasty bagel with generous toppings. Excellent value for money.
31/07/2026: Very good bagel and selection of smoothies 😋. We ordered a chicken bagel ( delicious), strawberry smoothie and a tasty coffee. The staff were very friendly and the service was efficient.
The atmosphere was calm and relaxing.
The bagel shop also has lots of copenhagen souvenirs
Overall very ice bagel restaurant and good customer service

08/06/2026: Excellent service - Isabella made the day 10x better with a big smile, incredibly good treatment and professional work. This is NOT paid advertising or anything like that - just “credit where credit’s due” - felt incredibly welcome & Isabella was super welcoming + helpful. All in all top class!

30/08/2025: Absolutamente me encantó este lugar de fish & chips! El pescado estaba súper fresco con una masa dorada perfectamente crujiente, y las papas fritas estaban manchadas – crujientes por fuera, esponjosas por dentro. Todo sabía como si hubiera sido hecho para mí.
La calidad supera fácilmente a muchos restaurantes sentados que he probado. El ambiente era relajado y Recibimiento, y el Servicio era rápido y amable.
Si usted está buscando una experiencia apropiada de fish & chips sobre la marcha, este es definitivamente el lugar para visitar. ¡Volveré seguro!
