18/08/2026: A lovely stop right at the harbor in Gilleleje.
For starters, we had shrimp on toast – fresh, well-seasoned, and generously topped. Then came the Bar Burger: juicy, cooked perfectly, and expertly prepared. It was accompanied by a homemade lime-mint lemonade that struck just the right balance between tartness and refreshment.
The service was consistently courteous, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable choice – we'd gladly return.
18/08/2026: Super delicious food, we had 2 users who were a bit out of their "normal menu" but it was well homemade and really filling, tasty and good. Homemade steaks, mayo etc.
There was a little goodie bag with homemade bread from the kitchen.
Good service, which was about it and generally nice surroundings

Quality of food and taste is consistent.
14/08/2026: I had the avo toast with extra scrambled eggs and it was unreal. My bf had the bunch plate and it was very filling and tasty. Bread, croissants and desserts were fresh, out of the oven. Lovely!

04/08/2026: Food was ok. Don’t come here if you expect fresh guacamole with your nacho’s. Starters are almost a meal on their own. Service was friendly and food came quickly. Everything is rather simple which on itself is not bad, but for this the prices are bit high. We sat 20 minutes with empty plates and no one came to clear the table and/or ask if we wanted dessert so at some point we paid and left.

06/01/2026: It's so cozy, you walk inside Gribskov and then the cutest little farmhouse appears right down to the water.
You enter a small cozy living room, with a view of Esrum Lake and here there are volunteer older people who serve you in a polite manner.
Very down to earth, come in as you look like you're on your picnic.
Highly recommended - but a bit expensive.

27/08/2026: The pizza was very tasty and the portion size was more than sufficient. At 95 DKK, the price was very reasonable, especially considering the quality.
The waiting time was very short – only about 10 minutes – and the staff were friendly.
The atmosphere and overall appearance of the place could be improved a little, but if you're mainly looking for good pizza at a fair price, this is definitely a good choice.
18/07/2026: Good food and the owner is sweet and nice, he welcomes guests when you come in the door, I can definitely recommend eating or ordering food from him 😁

09/08/2026: Beautiful café with a garden. Delicious brunch and great coffee and cakes. There are swings, a ping-pong table, and free-range chickens for children. We love coming here.
06/08/2026: An ok-ish bun with cheese for DKK 68,-, boring yoghurt and granola that seems to be from the supermarket. The coffee was fine, the cardamom swirl as well and the cakes looked delicious.
The surroundings are definitely a draw here, but not everything is to our taste

16/08/2026: At the time of writing we are still waiting for our Pizza 😢 We were told a wait time of 30-45...1 hour and 20 minutes later we are still waiting. The service is rude and has difficulty keeping up with the 'many' waiting guests.

12/07/2026: Top class Italian pizza! According to my son, the best pizza he has ever eaten. Super cozy, leafy outdoor seating. Small playground for the little ones is a big plus. The owner and staff were fantastic.
