24/03/2026: Bad service, expensive pizza is not good. Dining on site not possible.

30/12/2025: Fantastic pizza, crispy and flavorful dough, perfect amount of toppings and it was nice and hot when delivered!

24/12/2025: Tasted fine, but 2 of my friends and I ate down here on a Tuesday night and 2/3 of us got a loose hole

15/05/2026: Extremely small portions! I ordered buratta, and it turned out to be 1/3 of a normal buratta. My friends were shocked by the size of my portion. Apparently, the restaurant is also going through a crisis and the portions are getting smaller. I don't recommend this place for food. Maybe just have some wine with a sea view.

05/04/2026: We went for afternoon tea and found it disappointing. The table had a nice sea view but was dirty, including a stained armchair, crumbs on the table cloth and some dirty dishes and cutlery. The service was slow and not very attentive. Some dishes were described wrongly by the waiter, and they had trouble accommodating for lactose intolerance in a nearby table. The food was underwhelming, the sandwiches were very basic and some of the cakes were dry. The best was the scones and the macaron.

03/02/2026: The best in town! Amazing real kebab! You can clearly taste that this is real kebab made with proper meat and the right spices. The meat is juicy, perfectly grilled and not filled with fat or strange additives. The bread is fresh, the vegetables are crispy, and the dressing balances the flavors really well. The portions are generous and the quality is top notch. Definitely a place I will come back to – highly recommended if you want kebab the way it should taste. Sublime service

21/04/2026: Best kebab I’ve had in a while. Was out on a tour in frigid Denmark when I chanced upon this brilliant hole in the wall. Amazing service, loaded my kebab with meat and garlic sauce. Yum yum in my tum tum.😩😩😩 So good I only took a picture of the almost finished kebab!

26/05/2026: Not recommended. We had ordered food for 6:30 PM, but it was ready at 6:00 PM, so it was cold when we picked it up. In addition, the food tasted nothing.

11/02/2026: ‼️CHECK THE WEIGHT CAREFULLY⚖️‼️ I was overcharged for smoked fish that turned out to be almost 100 g lighter than the weight I paid for. I only noticed because the price was suspiciously high and I checked it myself on another scale. When I returned, the staff confirmed the incorrect weight and refunded the difference — without even saying sorry. If I hadn't checked, the overcharge would have gone unnoticed… Very disappointing and untrustworthy‼️

03/10/2025: Their coffee was nice, but the rum ball was boring. It's a nice concept, but the cafe and the service area seem boring, messy and shabby.

09/09/2025: The baked goods were fresh and well-made, and the cappuccino was delicious. Instead of eating from a paper bag and drinking from a paper cup with stirrers, the old-school option—with a plate, cup, and spoon—would have certainly been even more appealing. Moreover, the service seemed dismissive and unmotivated... what a pity, jam...

24/09/2025: The food was extremely salty. Not just salty, but ridiculously salty. Papaya salad, seafood salad, fried chicken, basil chicken... everything was salty. The papaya salad was inedible. The chef needs to improve the seasoning.

26/08/2025: I've never stayed and eaten, I've only ordered takeout. But it's our go to Thai place. It's very delicious, and they have a little bit of everything. They're always nice when you come to pick up the food.

02/10/2025: Delicious food from Varnada Indian Cuisine. Elsinore Street Food is a great place to relax and enjoy good food after a days sightseeing around Helsingør.

13/09/2025: I ordered butter chicken with garlic naan. Is it edible? Yes. Would I recommend anyone to spend money on it? No The quality is terribly low. Butter chicken tasted like tomato sauce with chicken. Had nothing to do with butter chicken. Garlic naan tasted like cardboard. Choose something else.

06/01/2026: Good sandwiches at a good price but above all very friendly staff. A bit rough environment, as it should be at a beer bar in Helsingör.

08/12/2025: We ordered food and waited over an hour but no food came despite several reminders. Apparently the kitchen had run out of food but no one on the staff thought it worth notifying us. No more visits for us here.

15/10/2025: I got a chicken gyros menu. The gyros was pretty boring. Dry chicken not a lot of flavor. Also I asked for no tomatoes which they added anyways.

01/05/2026: I recently moved from Frederiksberg and have always been really happy with Lagkagehuset's delicious Foccacia bread and have bought it every week for many years. But after many attempts (6-8 purchases) at the branch in Meny in Espergærde, I have to write in an attempt to get the owner/baker to take my criticism into account. The foccacia that you sell has nothing to do with foccacia. Wow, really poor quality wheat, no moisture in the bread, lacks salt, heaviness and structure. It doesn't even look like foccacia.. If the goal is to make something that is close to an Italian foccacia, it has failed to that extent. Won't you give it another try so that you can get proper bread at Lagkagehuset in Espergærde? Thank you🙏🏼

23/05/2026: Tasteless food, ordered fish fillet with potatoes instead of fries. Got 2 tasteless old fish with potatoes without taste. The remoulade sauce had no taste either. The salad you got consisted of 1/8 tomato, i.e. a small piece of tomato and a small piece of pepper, the rest was salad leftovers. Ugh no thanks never again. Waste of money!

16/03/2026: We treated ourselves to potato soup with bacon – the soup of the day. Very tasty, well-seasoned, and homemade.
