17/12/2025: The hotel is excellent both with regards to food, location and bar/breakfast service. However, the reception management fails to deliver a satisfactory a service. The invoice breakdown was not clear and a problem to obtain clarity about. No replies whatsoever. Several days of chasing unanswered questions elicited a rude and unprofessional telephone conversation with no satisfactory outcome at all. Sadly we will not be returning.

14/04/2026: On a Tuesday in the rain and wind we had our court breakfast: 2 types of herring to share followed by a piece of old cheese - and it IS old - also to share. Tasted great as always. Had another bottle of beer, as their draft beer has lost its steam a few times when it arrived. Nice service. There were only a few of us at the time, but that was OK and to be expected.

13/04/2026: Ordered beef tartare but got raw minced beef that was spoiled. The meat had nothing to do with tartare meat, and it was brown and smelled terribly of spoiled meat.

13/04/2026: Rated 1 out of 5 stars Spoiled steak tartare My friend and I both ordered tartare but got a minced steak of regular minced beef with fat. The meat was partly brown and smelled really bad. We complained and they took it back, but it's incomprehensible that they would even serve such a disgusting dish. The poor waiter couldn't get any closer to this. We actually lost our appetite. We won't be coming here again.

09/11/2025: Slow and sluggish service, not very good coffee and a rather sad atmosphere.

18/10/2025: Bought coffee and cake to sit in the café – and got a cardboard cup, plate and cutlery. Asked nicely if you could get real cutlery or a proper cup, and was met with an attitude that almost said: “Okay boomer, relax – we’re doing cardboard here.” Was about to order two teacups, but just asked if there was a deal if you took three. “Yes, that’s 3 for 60.” “So two for 30?” “No, actually 4 for 60.” … Well – I was just going to give 30 for 2?! It felt like discussing mental arithmetic with a piece of cardboard in human form. In addition, there was dirt on the tables and sticky residue around the counter – you could almost feel the bad smiley in the air. And honestly: it seems deserved. … Maybe Lagkagehuset should consider baking a little less – and thinking a little more.

02/11/2025: I ordered pizza from this place and got a pizza with rotten meat that smelled rotten. We ended up throwing the pizza out and when we contacted the pizzeria for a refund they basically told us we were lying. I can't recommend this place in any way. They don't take responsibility for serving food that is not only obvious but can also make people sick.

25/08/2025: Big place with various high quality plants there is small playground inside the place for kids and coffee shops And it has little animals;hamster, rabbit gekko etc. which kids can see them

20/07/2025: You can always bring baby food and water – even on planes – but at Plantorama it is not allowed, neither at the playground upstairs nor in the café area downstairs. When my husband gave our daughter a slice of cucumber, we were reprimanded by the staff, who watched us like police officers to make sure we didn’t use any of what we had brought. We usually spend thousands of kroner on flowers, plants, trees, food and coffee at Plantorama on each visit, but after this humiliating experience – where we felt watched and humiliated in front of other customers – we now prefer to shop online. It is both cheaper and no one violates our dignity. I truly regret all the money we spent there.

25/02/2026: A little lunch, fantastically delicious croque madame, avocado toast and shooting stars. Highly recommended

15/02/2026: I ordered a warm chocolate with oat milk. They accepted the order but then brought the chocolate with whipped cream (made with regular milk) on top. I’m a waitress myself, so I didn’t mind explaining twice, but when the waitress suggested I should be more precise when placing the order, I decided to write this publicly. Because guess what? If I ask for oat milk, it’s because I’m lactose-intolerant, not because I like being spoiled. As a waitress, you know that the chocolate comes with cream on top; as a customer, I’m not supposed to know! P.S. I suspect that the chocolate block inside was made with regular milk too. Obviously, I didn’t want to ruin my day over the incompetence shown, sending it back for the third time, so I simply paid for the chocolate I didn’t drink and left. I know our job can be frustrating, but learning to do it professionally costs nothing.

19/01/2026: I truly admire this sushi restaurant. The hand rolls are beautifully made, and the sashimi is incredibly fresh and high quality. Highly recommended!

26/04/2025: the employees have too much attitude especially the blonde girl. my friend and I went last week, we both said we want the coffee to stay not once but twice. the barista put the coffee in paper cups and when we politely reminded her that we were hoping to stay she asked with attitude you want it in a glass and rolled her eyes. extremely rude. the place is always dirty as well with tables with crumbs on it and what not.

23/11/2025: Amazing juicy kebab, super good service! They don't skimp on the ingredients :-) Best kebab place I've been to!!

27/08/2025: Probably some of the worst fast food we've ever had. Their "snack basket" is a study in the most tacky frozen foods, so far from their own website description of wanting to "tease your senses". The pizza with chicken, pepperoni and bacon (called "Ferroperm") was incredibly boring and uninspiring. If the pizza dough and tomato sauce are from a 30 year old family recipe, we would really consider starting a new tradition! The harbor is a beautiful place with atmosphere and good energy - what a shame that this place doesn't contribute to this!
