15/08/2026: Very tasty. They prepared it right in front of us, and it's interesting to watch the cooking process😊. For a family of 3, we took a family set. Water was offered for free.) I think we'll come back later.

16/08/2026: Excellent food and great service, but you’re paying for that. You know when you go into. If you order the hamburger with chips, they will charge you for the chips separately. This is the first place I’ve seen in my two weeks in Denmark charging you for the water.

03/05/2026: First time at Høvlen since reopening. Was a bit skeptical, but it was completely and utterly put to shame. We had a really fun evening, and the two cute girls at the bar are absolutely amazing. We will definitely be back! 🍺🥳

06/09/2026: An okay place, but honestly, not a great one. The kitchen closes every day for an hour from 15:30 to 16:30. While this may be their regular routine, it can be quite inconvenient for customers, especially tourists visiting with limited time. Perhaps adjusting the opening hours or finding another way to accommodate this break would make the experience more customer-friendly. The pastas were good, but nothing exceptional. We tried them expecting more and found them just okay. The vodka pasta is also no longer on the menu, which was a bit disappointing. The tiramisu was average as well—nothing particularly memorable. Overall, it’s good to try once if you’re nearby, but personally, I wouldn’t go back.

05/09/2026: The pasta was beautifully cooked and generously sauce.. The anchovies were salty and my mouth did periodically turn into the Sahara. Perhaps rescue water could have been come 5 min earlier.

02/06/2026: Fantastic experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by incredibly welcoming and friendly staff. I had a panini sandwich with chicken, and it was absolutely delicious – crispy, flavorful, and made with really good ingredients. The best sandwich I've had in Østerbro! Pizzeria Scamorza is highly recommended ✨

13/06/2026: I stopped by to have a remote meeting. The bar was barely open but the owner let me in and even lower the music for me. Additionally the expresso was very exquisite with a very nice acidity and well served. I have love to stay for their live music in the evening.

11/09/2026: BEWARE: This place charges ***45 DKK PER PERSON*** for tap water. (It’s filtered - so what?) We tried to ask for just one since my companion was having beer, and they said ok, took away the second glass and then brought back a second glass and told us it was 45 for the carafe, so we’d be fine. And then at the end of the meal they charged us 90 and said it was per person. When we tried to give feedback, they were extremely rude and defensive. This is the first one-star rating I have ever given on the internet, on any platform.

24/05/2025: We had a cocktail here for 25 people, and the service was top-notch, the view was amazing, and the cocktails 🍸 were very good! Highly recommended for a cocktail bar in Copenhagen! But reservations would probably be a good idea!
