19/04/2026: A lovely positive experience in the heart of Lyngby, that was Spiseriet49. The menu card had been read through from home and it looked promising. Small card with some solid classics, so it looked good. And it was good that we had stir-fried tartar for starters and ravioli with ricotta, spicy tomato sauce and toasted prosciutto for main course. Really delicious with and at super good prices, strange that more people had not found their way to this little gem in Lyngby. So definitely worth a visit and not the last time I've been by🍴🍷🍸🍺🥩🍝 Thank you very much for the food.❤️❤️

22/11/2025: Incredibly good burgers, the fries were also really good. Their chili mayo is a bit spicy - be careful! Kian was the sweetest person and gave the best service you could have gotten! Highly recommended.

15/02/2026: The staff were nice and did what they could. The food was okay but it looked like some were bought from somewhere and some were homemade. The beef was just in the cupboard. The premises were a bit cramped as there were more people there. We might consider stopping by again as we were close. But not a place we would drive 30 minutes to visit.

15/05/2026: My child was at McDonald’s Birkerød to buy takeaway food and drinks. Shortly after leaving the restaurant, he unfortunately spilled everything and was very upset. He went back to ask for help and the staff without hesitation made him a new menu and new drinks. As a parent, I was truly touched by the understanding, kindness and care they showed him. It was much more than just good customer service — they welcomed a sad little boy with warmth and helpfulness, and it really meant a lot to him. Thank you so much to the amazing team at McDonald’s Birkerød.

22/02/2026: I have visited Café Alex several times, and my experiences have generally been acceptable. While it may not be a five-star café, it is also far from the worst compared to many cafés in Denmark. During my most recent visit, however, I was quite disappointed. I ordered the nachos for 149 kr., and unfortunately they were the most underwhelming nachos I have been served. The portion consisted mostly of dry chips, with only a small number that actually had cheese on them — and that cheese was already hardened and overcooked. After eating a few chips, I politely asked if a bit more cheese could be added to the bowl. The dish was returned with only a light sprinkle of partially melted cheese at the bottom and even more dried, crusted cheese on top, which did not really improve the dish. I understand that standards and expectations can vary, but for the price charged, the quality and value did not meet what I would consider reasonable. Overall, based on cost versus value during this visit, I would rate the experience 1 star. After the waitress asked if I was finished, as the bowl was still full, I explained that it really wasn’t ok to eat and she explained she would tell the chef. That’s as far as it went. They charged me full price and no apologies as to how bad the food was.

22/05/2026: I tried Yoyo for the first time today. Unfortunately, I didn't find the sushi I ordered to be particularly tasty compared to other places in town. The rice also didn't have the flavor that sushi rice usually has (in my experience), but that's probably a matter of taste.

17/03/2026: Really good sushi! The place is also very cozy, so I will definitely come back. It didn't get 5 stars because they forgot the food twice. Otherwise super good!

08/01/2026: Best place in area. I'm coming from Helsinge to get sushi only from them.
