15/10/2025: Dinner with friends, we had a lot of fun! All-you-can-eat sushi. We tried different pieces, ordered from the 💻 counter, and the food took between 15 and 20 minutes to arrive. You can order as many times as you want within the 2-hour service period. Coffee and ice cream are also included 🍨! Drinks are not included.

27/12/2025: A perfect and wonderful place for a coffee break with kids. Cute little cave area for the youngest. Good food! Great location close by the very cool indoor skatepark!! 🛹

29/09/2025: Flabby/arrogant staff so I didn't eat here. Parking next door costs 50kr but they advertise that if you buy something here, you get it for free. I asked if I could buy a cup of coffee and pay extra (50kr) for it, to which the staff (woman, name unknown) flabbyly replied that “as it says on the sign you MUST buy coffee and cake as a minimum”. She said a few more sentences in the same vein and had an arrogant attitude, even though I politely replied “ah okay I didn't see that on the sign”. Sick of people rubbing salt in the wound. Went outside and read the sign again - NOWHERE does it say that you MUST buy coffee and cake (for 75kr) as a minimum. Just standing there as a guest and coffee costs 42kr. Because of her attitude she wasn't worth the trouble even though she was wrong. Judge for yourself, see the pictures. I'm staying away! You can stay for free 5 minutes walk away

26/09/2025: We arrived at the weekend and saw their buffet. Wow, it was a really good experience. There was a good atmosphere and the place was almost full, already at opening time. However, we asked if it was possible to sit outside in the sunny weather, which they were nice and accommodating to. Very soon after, the table was set for us. The food was really good - Danish, good, warm dishes, as well as delicious and fresh salads. Especially the one with strawberries and lemon balm. Definitely worth the money.

26/04/2026: Our favorite place for "Running Sushi". For the first time we tried the robot instead of the conveyor belt. We probably won't do it again. It's a curiosity when the cat-like robot runs around. But on a Saturday night, with the house full, a robot is simply too little and too slow. Everyone had to wait a long time for their orders and the waiters ended up having to take over the robot's work. So too long a wait and clearly harder with children to judge how many pieces to order, so that you don't leave and get charged for it. Then it's a bit easier to take a bowl or plate on the conveyor belt... or not. So no more robot for us.

24/03/2026: A disappointing experience overall, mainly due to the lack of freshness. The sushi rice was noticeably dry—bordering on stale—and even after we pointed it out, it took more than 20 minutes before anything resembling fresh sushi appeared. The pricing feels excessive for what you get. We paid around 1,300 DKK for two adults and three children, and that was with nothing but tap water—still billed at over 100 DKK, which is hard to justify. There’s also something slightly off-putting about the way pricing is structured for children. The wording around age categories (e.g. “3 years and below”) feels deliberately vague, effectively pushing children just over the threshold into a higher price bracket. The same applies to kids above 11, who are charged full adult prices. It may be technically correct, but it comes across as unnecessarily tricky. Service didn’t improve the experience. The manager/owner sat eating while we were there and made no effort to engage—not even a simple goodbye or a check-in on how the food was. The only time there seemed to be any real attention was around confirming the children’s ages, rather than addressing the fact that many items on the menu never made it onto the belt. All in all, it’s hard to recommend. For the price of what amounts to a significant chunk of a weekly food budget, you expect freshness, consistency, and at least a basic level of hospitality. This place didn’t deliver on any of those

17/04/2026: Nice swimming pool with good swimming conditions. There are 3 pools. One for small children, medium children and one for lanes. If you are a family with children there is a good swimming pool. If it is for training and swimming lanes, there is a need for improvements.

31/05/2026: Absolutely lovely experience. My daughter with asd and I stopped in and found the perfect, calm atmosphere for a mellow, fun afternoon activity. The staff was so helpful and kind, we had phenomenal hot chocolate and a chai vanilla latte (best I’ve ever had), and had a great time choosing colors and painting with all the different types of paint, stamps, and embellishments. Not a cheap activity, but well worth the price. Would absolutely go again ☺️

27/06/2025: Vi kommer ofte på Cafe Mikkel da det er god mad, dejlige lokaler, og når vejret er til det dejligt at man kan side ude. Betjeningen er altid høflig og venlig, DOG IKKE torsdag 26. juni, hvor en kvindelig tjener omkring de 50 år virkelig viste en ikke høflig og venlig tone over for 2 af vores nabo bordes gæster. Folk var meget overrasket over tonen, det burde ikke være nødvendigt. Godt nok var der en del gæster, men så heller ikke værre. De unge tjenere var som altid flinke og service minded.

04/01/2026: It was nice, not much was happening when I stopped by on Sunday evening, December 28th, but I got good, quick service. And what I bought tasted good, so there's not much there, and it was nice outside.

01/06/2026: Overall good, a Nordic city hotel without great luxuries but it does the job. The breakfast was adequate; there wasn't everything, but I didn't miss anything. Good overall, nothing fancy.

10/11/2025: We went to Morten's evening menu on November 9. Roast duck with brown and white potatoes and orange sauce and ice cream for dessert kr 199. But I have to say it was not worth the money and left with a very flat feeling. A piece of duck breast that was quite boring and browned potatoes without flavor and white potatoes I think they were glass potatoes they tasted quite boring. The sauce was ok. But it was only lukewarm. The dessert was ok. We will find another place next year.

10/11/2025: Mortensaften, roast duck arh, that's not good enough, a piece of barberry duck breast, in my world not roast duck. Brown potatoes completely devoid of flavor, the highlight was the sauce, it was edible not amazing, but reasonable.

16/05/2026: The newly opened sushi restaurant - opened early May 2026 - serves delicious sushi with a smile. Got a deluxe menu and it was plenty for two. Note that the place shares reviews and photos with the former Café Tre Konger.

29/12/2025: A few years ago I wanted to have a nice dinner there in their premises. I drove there and was given a tour by an older woman. She didn't seem super excited about me as a customer and even said when I had questions: “It's only a 20th birthday after all”. I was upset when I was ready with a lot of money and wanted to have a nice dinner. My mother had worked closely with Dyrehøj during her time as owner of Strandhotel Røsnæs and my family has donated a lot of money to Røsnæs through their foundation, Bent O. Jørgensens Fond. So it surprised me to receive such poor service when I had only heard good things about the place from my family. The birthday party was not held there for good reasons. Because I simply didn't feel welcome. I've thought about it sometimes since then and hope that it's different now and that they will now remember that regardless of age, appearance, etc. you don't know which customer you're dealing with. Because even though I was 20, I could afford a nice sophisticated dinner and wanted it out there because I appreciate the wine. But besides that, I have had other visits to Dyrehøj that were nice and they also have good wine. Another feedback I would also like to give is some more complete aesthetic framework in relation to the premises. The chairs she showed me were classic community center chairs and there were other details that (in my taste) could be better. But all in all a nice place.
